If the surgery wasn't successful he would try another one or stop playing and resting. I'm sure he is fine and it's just a bad excuse. He is far from fine. His wrists are completely fucked and he hasn't had any real treatment yet. He is waiting until after GSL so he can rest and let them heal properly. Excuse? Get the fuck out excuse or not. Ts on the korean ladder have been relying on aggressive early-mid game play. Blizzard needs to fix this. Their philosophy of Ts requiring to pressure early-mid game to mitigate P late game advantage is silly. Explain to me why it is silly in TvP and not silly in TvZ? It's not in TvZ? There's your difference.
So if T let's Zerg get to BL/Infesotr, T has no problem to beat them?

Personally I don't, in this case, care about the races. I've hoped for MVP to come back, and I really hope for HerO to do good. So, no, Protoss does not need some sort of "comeback".

when someone is doing 1-1-1 bleah.. noob.. bad player.. so on. When MVP does it.. good decision, smart player, gogog MVP and so on.
I just cannot understand you guys.. like you ahve no spine.. Go Parting!

smart mvp, taking down all the rocks while he has the time...seems many players don't take the time to do that even when it would be advantageous for them ....cough cough zerg.... (not talking about gsl level of course)

You know there is a game called command and conquer, where there are no alien race. only terran. maybe you should play/watch it instead?

I mean, a close macro game is the best, don't get me wrong. But it seems TL will give a good rating to a long game with 1 battle than a short game with a close battle. Are minerals being mined that exciting? =/ Exactly. I was holding my breath for both players on the push. I thought it was a rather exciting and good match. I was practically shaking watching the interaction between banshee, bunker, etc with parting's stalkers and immortal control. It was quite tense but we can see mvp just has better awareness and control. parting lost a few stalker and zealots to hold command without doing anything Quite the opposite here, I was cringing at the ease with which MVP picked off units, forced parting into siege shots for practically no loss, and the 2 bad (forced) engagements, not killing the rocks at the top etc, just high pressure leading parting into making multiple mistakes that he can't afford to against the likes of MVP, even when he's chain cheesing probably due to his wrists. that's the point. parting was not able to keep up with mvp's aggression cause he was not able to defend the moving tanks/marines while stopping the banshee's harassment. Just didn't have the apm The interaction between protoss shield regen, marines, pheonix, and banshees and back tank depends alot on how much poking terran does while moving up. In contrast with parting controls with his units and manage shield regen and not take too much tank shots
My post was in reference to the fact that people were "holding their breath" during that exchange, I find that a bit ridiculous because the outcome was quite obvious after about 20 seconds of parting miss-controlling and being in a bad position, along with his unit comp. charge-lots are key to holding off a 1/1/1, and parting was lacking zealots in general. Just struggling to understand why people found that game exciting when it wasn't really ever close. Also I totally agree with everything you said (I said the same as you but not as detailed basically).
