A Terran playing a standard macro game against Protoss with even remotely close skill level will lose 100% of the time. MVP knows this and he is doing what he can. Blame Blizzard a completely imbalanced race and match up. I don't think the issue is balance, I just think Protosses are actually playing too greedy, which gives them an advantage if you let them get to the late game

It's not MVP's fault Parting is playing so bad!
The only problem is people will say "TvP is fine. A terran was in the finals last GSL".

fyi it takes longer then 1 minute, there are a ton of posts.

Should be called Live-whine thread, not much reporting going on in here.

How rude.

Like Artosis said, Protoss nowadays are way too greedy. MVP exploiting this to the MAX. "Forcing protoss to play fair". There is such a thing as macro cheese.
MVP in his prime was unstoppable. No one could stop him. Too bad his wrist is getting crappy. I hope he gets his 4th GSL title then take 1-2 seasons off to get some surgery for his wrist.

Which just shows how smart MVP is.
Naniwa is known for playing extremely greedy in the early game with a lot of nexus firsts. So MVP proxy rax and bunker rushes him.
Parting is known for getting all his tech on two bases and skimping on army in the 7-12 minute phase. So he goes 1-1-1 and a two base timing.
This isn't mindless all inning. This is MVP being smart, playing to win and showing why he's the greatest player to ever play this game.

Get templars, colos, archons, void rays, mothership, carriers, phoenixes. Hell just give them 3/3 everything to a move. That's obviously what MVP should do. There's no honor in winning before the 15 min mark. And he cheesed Naniwa (who everyone seems to like this month).
no honor in winning before the 15 min mark
ladder is doing something in your brain

MVP does 1 base SCV all in = OMG BEST PLAYER EVERRRRRRRRRR
God I love this community.
Terran is thought to be a good cheeser and people respect than since Boxer. Protoss should be more about honor fighting :p

These builds are specifically prepared for player and map.
The difficulty of flanking on this map, a critical mistake, was something that he was fishing for.

you know, I would say PartinG could come back 3 - 0 (he's good enough), but it's entirely possible Mvp has devoured his soul

The only player to ever 3-0 Mvp in the history of sc2 is MMA.
Can Parting be the second?

Remember that time when he went to 2 bases and Tastosis were shocked? He then proceeded to throw down 10 rax and go for an even bigger marine-SCV all-in ^__^

Mvp is doing what it takes to win games. I don't see any problem there. GG by Mvp!

His wrists are probably also a reason ^^.

First game was allin. However it was a timing MVP knew he could kill Parting at. Not a cheese as tasteless said though, but a well thought out timing attack that based off what MVP knew, was absolutely going to work. MVP had vision of the archive as it was finishing up through a scan, as well as a very good idea as to how many colossi Parting had.
Second game I feel like Parting forgets how you deal with 1-1-1 and why stalkers suck sooooo much against 1-1-1.

I want him to do good in this tournament and use the money for surgery hopefully, and become the king he used to be

Wow, that's so many 5 stars for that game? 5 stars is supposed to be amazing.. That was an ok'ish all-in and Parting didn't defend it well.
The 5 stars are from the MVP fanboys, the 1 stars are from the Parting fanboys. Polls are mostly "Did the player you cheer for win?" nowadays.

I don't understand why people are raging at MVP for his all-ins. The guy has an injured wrist and cannot play to 100% of his abilities for too long. Moreover, his opponent is a macro beast who figured late game PvT.
Why the hell would he want to play a long game ?
I prefer to see 100% MVP for 15 minutes than 80% MVP for 30 minutes.
