MVP's barracks hiding, denying probes, and brilliant splitting of his marines so they wouldn't all get spotted on approach was how he won. MVP did a great job with that all-in. I am in platinum leauge and i could that all in the same way. Its not hard to deny probes with marines. Its not hard to pull 3/4 of your army through the back way, especially on Entombed. Nice attempt on covering shit with gold
But you don't know how to play macro games, so its pointless to compare yourself to this high-level play. Things that don't work in lower leagues actually might work at the top because of how scouting works and how mind-games happen

I think I'll wait to see if he ever builds a third these days before I call Mvp a macro god.
He's probably the most macro oriented player in the world in Sc2, check his past games for proof of that.

So i heard Nani got "cheesed" with a marine/scv all in. Im a protoss, but I've always suspected that Nani will fall to that kind of a cheese. In his games he does not scout until late in the opening, something like 17 food. That had to be punished. I scout after the first pylon precisely to avoid getting cheesed. 17 scout is an invitation for pros to cheese him, IMO.
A lot of pros play greedy/risky as hell. But people are too busy being outraged by whatever strategy they got punished with to notice.

We 'Mvp fans' don't crowd to someone just because they're a foreigner, that's just silly IMHO, skill is a much better reason to be a fanboy, and seeing Mvp making a recovery in this fashion WHILE GIMPED, is just astounding. Absolutely this. MVP fans tend to be the ones who value skill over "sensational characters".
MVP fans are the ones who tend to root for whoever the top player/team is. Like the guys who rooted for Michael Schuamacher in F1

They don't choose. It's predetermined.
