Naniwa has had two Protoss favored maps in TvP so far and MVP has prepared builds to counter both of them.
I am pretty sure that if Naniwa chooses a map that MVP feels comfortable going late game on we'll see a later game, but as long as he chooses maps that favor Protoss late game we'll probably see MVP go for earlier game busts. That's just a smart way to play and if Naniwa was smart he'd pick up on what MVP was doing and compensate for it.
Believe me NaniWa understands it way better than you do, you just said obviously obvious stuff, but map picking is way deeper than this.

Bad luck to be honest. But Mvps mech TvP on Cloud Kingdom was insanely good.

lol terran hope?
The last thing the teran infested GSL bracket needs is a "terran hope" imo.

Those code S are stupid. I mean naniwa is 0-8 in PvZ and is in ro8 ? this is stupid. Too bad most people are so driven by the Anti-Korean sentiment they don't care.
for me anyway, its more about having a PROTOSS champion of GSL code S because it hasn't happened in so bloody long. I guess I'll probably be putting my faith in SQUIRTLE now, I don't think there's any way Nani can save this series.

Because he is smart. He is prepared. He out-metagames the opponent. Naniwa could probably win in a straight, stanard, classic game. But if MVP turns god-mode decision making on, then Nani has no chance in hell. He BLINDLY 3-raxed. That's really how you out-meta someone? He blindly 2 raxed, the 3rd rax was reactionary. NaNi didn't scout well enough and got outplayed. Deal with it. This. The naniwa fanboys are hilarious, oh he all-ined my favourite player's super greedy opener!

Wow, people are so disrespectful to Naniwa. He practiced really hard for this and to go out like this. And people instantly start saying he's been on a luck streak and that he's terrible.

Doesn't even have Sase, Khaldor or one Startale member to go in and talk with him. His least favourite map coming up, 3-0 for MVP. ???? Sase was just in there talking to him. Looked like Wolf.

God, I'm annoyed by all these stupid posters saying they're glad to see Naniwa lose. It's really just petty to want someone else to fail, just enjoy the game and cheer for people, is it so hard...

That Naniwa never considered that MVP's wrists might make him favour short games is Naniwa's fault.

Be it Brood War or SC2, in a Bo5, a lot of the top players throw in a cheese. Also, MVP has fucking exploding wrists. Why the hell would he want to play a maximum FIVE MACRO GAMES against a dude who loves going into the late game? His coach had to rub his wrists after the first set. For MVP, the second set was either a quick win, or it was a quick loss that meant he didn't have to put more stress on his wrists. Thank you Fionn.

This is getting funny, foreigner fanboys vs terrans jizzing their pants because protoss gets crushed in a tvp.

I'm cheering for Naniwa too, but cheeses are builds too. They're just not builds that are meant for the long game. MVP won fair and square. Naniwa didn't respond correctly and he lost.
The thing is, he did respond correctly. It was just a build order loss. If MVP made the additional barracks after he scouted the nexus first naniwa would have hold it

Oh come on, that's taking it a bit too far. While I agree that some people cheer for their favorite player regardless of their player's quality of game, MVP fans will not defend MVP if he just a-moved 6 SCV's across the map.

GOGO 4 probe attack to deny cc first --> countered by Mvp's classic super-non-entertaining 1base plays.
