Parting is the guy to beat this season.

SuperNoVa is the most overrated 'underrated' player in the GSL.

Disagree. Tonight was pretty good!

I can't believe people are so upset about a PvP final. Did you guys forget about the whole GomTvT phase not too long ago?? PvP is the only matchup we haven't had a final for yet.

Indeed. Fun, tense, sometimes silly night.

Very well said, and I would have to agree.

Meh, a tad bit underwhelming.
But the winner will come from the other side of the bracket anyway.

Hero has a way better chance against Taeja than he does vs. Squirtle. I am fairly certain Squirtle would crush Hero in a BO5 PvP, and I really like Hero.

Well, a terrible night of GSL hope tomorrow will be much better.

I cant believe people want to watch it simply because it hasnt happened yet.... PvP is only one very small step above ZvZ, both of those matchups make me want to bash my own face in. Honestly, that is one of the dumbest reasons for wanting a PvP that I can think of...

Still kinda hope that Oz can come back to make a few epic PvP's.
Oh and I'm calling it right now, PartinG vs HerO in the finals. I don't know why people like artosis and LR constantly counts out MVP. He's still the most accomplished sc2 player to date, and have been in code S for a very long time. Even last season he was only 1 game away from making into round of 8. And a season before that in round of 4 He probably been in round of 4 or higher more than he has not Because we have eyes, and this is not the MVP we were used to. Call it carpal tunnel, call it PvT era or w/e. Everything not a 3-0 or 3-1 for parting will be a big surprise for me. Using your eyes is deceptive, especially there aren't that many games you can see per season. How do you count someone out who has constantly been able to get into the round of 4 or higher nearly every season? Because he never had to use blind cheese almost 3 games in a row to do it before? "blind" cheese against someone who is known for going constantly forge expand 4 times in a row against zerg despite losing to 6 pool 3 times in the same game set? Naniwa is not known for being flexible with his build. why would you not exploit that it is mind games, and i can understand the actions by naniwa - your opponent wants you to play safe since you cheesed - so he plays greedily. do you understand? its more advanced mind games than just "oh, you cheesed once, so now i guess i wont take any risks in the rest of the series". this however, does not change the fact that these mind games are a shaky ground to build your game on mvp is still making coin flips when cheesing, but since he got a head start he was free to do that. if he had lost the first game, things could have gone very differently (not saying he should though, naniwa had a very good build he had prepared, but he executed it poorly and microed poorly in ways i almost never see him do outside of korea) naniwa is alot like idra, you can't go wrong just cheesing those two. The only difference is one will complain while the other don't not exactly shaky when all naniwa has a habit of using rock every other game
naniwa is not like idra, he is known for his excellent scouting and normally has great deciscion making with rushes

Despite GomTvT, I feel its the 2nd best matchup in SC2 (best is TvZ). PvP is at the bottom of my list.

MVP is gonna get absolutely trashed in Ro4 if he cheese like he did. And he's gonna do it. It's fucking disgusting to see what he did, since he knows that he won't go past Ro4 and that Naniwa deserved the spot way more than him.
It's funny how everyone trashed the guy who reported Destiny for racial slurs because he 1 base all-in'd him, but when it's MVP he is a total genius, the best player of the planet, and Naniwa played like a retard because he's a total noob. I find it really funny

Parting is looking way too good right now. Really high chance that he will win GSL. I was expecting a bit more from Naniwa, felt that he could have handled some of the situations that he was in better. As for Oz he just really got outplayed and tried some builds that backfired on him.

PvP is the only matchup we haven't had a final for yet. I actually like PvP but the way PvP is played in korea for most players makes it unlikely we'll have a good finals. MVP vs HerO is my ideal final atm as it is my two favourite players for their respective race.

Idk haha, as much as I want him to win, he'll have a really tough time taking on Squirtle, his PvP isn't really good. He has a better chance against Taeja, but Taeja always kills him on the ladder.

If a kind of handicapped mvp wins it all I'm going to be shocked

I have to say, that was some of the worst defence of a proxy 2 rax by Naniwa I have ever seen. After scouting that and killing the scv, even I could have pulled a win from that game. Easily.
