My stream is like 2 minutes behind, but I know 100% that Oz' gateway placement is to prevent cannon rush on this map. You can pylon wall behind the minerals really easily and make cannons and it super hard to stop. Sage did it against Bling in TAC2 and Bling said in chat "are you serious? lol" or something like that.

Still kinda hope that Oz can come back to make a few epic PvP's.
Oh and I'm calling it right now, PartinG vs HerO in the finals. I don't know why people like artosis and LR constantly counts out MVP. He's still the most accomplished sc2 player to date, and have been in code S for a very long time. Even last season he was only 1 game away from making into round of 8. And a season before that in round of 4 He probably been in round of 4 or higher more than he has not Because we have eyes, and this is not the MVP we were used to. Call it carpal tunnel, call it PvT era or w/e. Everything not a 3-0 or 3-1 for parting will be a big surprise for me. Using your eyes is deceptive, especially there aren't that many games you can see per season. How do you count someone out who has constantly been able to get into the round of 4 or higher nearly every season? Because he never had to use blind cheese almost 3 games in a row to do it before? "blind" cheese against someone who is known for going constantly forge expand 4 times in a row against zerg despite getting 6 pooled 3 times in the same game set? Naniwa is not known for being flexible with his build. why would you not exploit that Well Naniwa is totally retarded for not changing it up then. But it's not like MVP is a genius and displaying superb skill by doing it that way.
Mvp doesn't have to prove himself by displaying superb skill anymore. He punished NaNiwa, NaNiwa played pretty poorly in at least two out of the four games played, and Mvp got to go to ro4. You can't fault him for that.

"blind" cheese against someone who is known for going constantly forge expand 4 times in a row against zerg despite losing to 6 pool 3 times in the same game set? Naniwa is not known for being flexible with his build. why would you not exploit that MVP is probably the best sc2 player out there that use specific build against players and play mind games Who the fuck doesn't open FFE every PvZ? That's a stupid example, might as well say he isn't flexible because he always opens 9 Pylon.
When you get 6 pool 3 times in a row on large opening maps, you might want to consider not being retarded and go FFE again
He opened FFE on maps that can't even be blocked off for god sakes. That's as inflexible as you can get.
Also forge fast expand is NOT the only way to play. You remind me alot of retards zerg that used to cry how hatch first is the only way to play

haha wow parting that's what's up

Well, i don't respect MVP decision to cheese twice in a row. Naniwa did messed up though. Planting a 15 gateway instead of standard 14/13gateway. He scouted the double proxy rax and did not put down a second gateway. He should have pull his probes quicker and should have targeted down the scv building the bunker. If he can't handle a simple bronze rush cheese, he dun deserve to win Code S.

why you no play straight up?

Of course. But the MVP fanboys in the thread are playing it up like MVP is the number 1 player in the world... for doing something which you just said pretty much anyone can see and do. Neither play showed great skill tonight in my opinion, and it was overall a bit... lackluster, disappointing, etc.

This is just so freaking obvious.
A Pylon missing, too much gas mined, double gas. Really disappointing show from Oz in the series in general.
