very entertaining games, dunno why people here prefer microless deathball moving. Cheese <3

For all the hate that Reddit gets around these parts, the discussion in this thread is just as disgusting.
Good luck to Naniwa next season. I can't see Mvp winning this season though.

I think people (like myself) are angry because a lot of us stayed up all night specifically to watch two of the more popular (and skilled) SC2 players known for macro styles play some epic games. I really didn't care who won.
Instead we got that shit fest of a series. At least I'll be able to catch a little bit of extra sleep before work.

Better luck next time psychopath!
It's one thing to criticize the fans of NaNiwa - to call a player a psychopath is low, very low.
I really hope a mod go through this thread.

I play zerg on the ladder. Im not good but as zerg I do get cheesed all the time. It is an option and part of the game. You have to be able to stop it to compete. Plus MVP has show he has major skills at SC2 so if he decided to cheese he must have thought it was the best option. Also I see a lot of the same people trashing MVP for cheesing and then go and trash other players who get beat by cheese frequently for not being good enough to stop. Which way to you want it? MVP didnt cheat, Naniwa got beat by the better player.

Really hope we get a good PvP to make up for that series. GOgogo Parting!

Hey guys, in case anyone cares there's still another match...to the 4 people who still have the stream on lol.

Naniwa got pretty good information on the cheese in both games he lost to it. Both times he had the opportunity to defend a hell of a lot better than he did.
Staying calm and collected, making clutch decisions in a Bo5 is definitely not a skill to underestimate.

hope u brought ur box of kleenex..... ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Both players cheesed on Daybreak. Naniwa used eco-cheese.

While I understand a bunker rush is hard to hold off... At the very least, couldn't he move his stalker towards MVP's base?

It was a nice run for Nani, he earned his spot for next season. Now its time for Parting to win this!
|
I didn't mind this series, i just wish nani would have held game 4 and put it to a 5 th series where MVP would have probably been forced to play more standard.... oh well... it's sad to think he is probably even less favored against Oz/Parting

Parting please win and destroy MVP. MVP's glory days are long gone, parting would put him down so ez.

I like Naniwa, but it was his own mistakes that cost him these matches. There is nothing wrong with cheesing, and Naniwa clearly made mistakes in each game. He should have won that last match, I actually think he over-practiced and the pressure just got to him.
Let's hope that next season he will be able to relax a bit, and now he has time on his side. He does not need to play a crazy amount of games within a couple of weeks. He can practice in a more balanced way.
