Monster got no chance with his 38% win ratio. And the most impressive thing about Nerchio is he isnt even a full time pro like Idra,Ret etc and he is still just as good if not better
The thing is, Stephano is an adaptive player - he adapts to people he plays and finds ways to beat them - ie Polt who he had a huge losing record vs. but then smashed in Lone Star Cup. Stephano adapted to Nerchio, but their record vs. other Zergs is around the same level. Both took a game off of Nestea, but neither were able to beat Nestea, for example.

WHEN WILL IT BE HIS TIME TO SHINE?! He got a walkover because boxer forfeited so he will be in up and downs at least, or he can beat MMA and probably nestea to qualify straight to code S and hey never count any possibility out the guy might just do that.
Sick. MMA will be a hard nut to crack, but anything is possible nowadays it seems.

Stephano also played Nestea at one of the biggest tournaments in the world whereas Nerchio played him online....

Really awesome seeing Ret win here and he has definitely a shot to win the title in this tournament! Genius assessed the situation as Ret having a horribad late-game and being a defensive player -> Genius wins when he reaches the late-game with a decent economy. He played greedy and didn't think Ret had a roach hydra three base push in his bag of tricks. Don't want to take anything away from Ret, but TBH what he did in game 3 was the Z equivalent of what Genius did in game 2. Roach/Hydra timing push only has one narrow window before too many col are out. Genius failed to read that build coming early enough to prepare for it so he lost. so there we have two game where they both try similar things, an ret wins one by holding and the other by pushing. why do you say it like it's some kind of slander?

Why are people speaking of Line when his teammate Life is doing much better right now and is FAR better in ZvZ ?! I miss tree.hugger and fionn posting

To bad Naniwa got knocked out. I think that Polt will win it all from now on. Don't see anybody that could stop him.

does that say anything about the skill? no. it's clear that stephano is more experienced at offline events and he deals with the stress/tension better.
and comparing their matchups, i think zvz and zvt is comparable but in zvp stephano is far better.

Was an example. Stephano's overall ZvZ is ~67.8%, Nerchio's is ~68.8%. No big difference is what I'm saying.

I'm glad a big tournament finally has a good interviewer in Incontrol. It just makes interviews so much better if the questions are coming from someone who knows what he's talking about instead of some chicks who know nothing about the game and ask akward questions.

I just love the production (music!) dreamhack showing!

I find commentaries are nice, I watched a lot of describing commentators those days, but wolf & appolo are trying to analyse and help us to understand what is happening. So nice to don't hear the stalkers are shooting roaches. Wow huge army! And those kind of comments for blind gamers.

Justice is ok but I'd still take Kpop over them in any Starcraft tournament
