GhostKing Taeja is easily better than ghostking who even when he was byun never put up significant results, and bomber hasn't been relevant for months. Taeja is good, but i feel he is overhyped now, because he joined Liquid. He need some result in big tournaments. Is eliminating two GSL champions in a row in Code S not big tournament results? Yes but he needs to win the whole thing + have a few other championships to be called the best or be ranked top tier. Right now he is still very good but not good enough to be called the very top tier of korean terrans. If he loses in the next round, what is there to differentiate him from someone like virus, who even beat Nestea and MC in previous rounds? Yet, virus is not even in most peoples top 10 list. I wouldn't even put Virus in a Top 20 Terran list tbh. Nevertheless, both Taeja and GhostKing needs to show good performance over a longer duration. GhostKing had been gone for several months, I'm pretty sure one's skill level can/will change over such time. o.O Plenty of people have done well in one GSL only to drop off the radar afterwards.

Here you go GSL top 8. Lol. What the heck? How did the games go? well, naniwa lost 0-2 0-2 vs the zergs, he says he didnt train PvZ at all, although he should still win against slivko and probably even nerchio imo... its not like you forget everything, right?
I am not a pro player but after long breaks I lack skills. I can't even imagine what a month has an impact on a progamer.

That's no excuse to lose to zergs when he's a 5 levels above them.

1. MarineKing 2. MMA 3. Mvp 4. Jjakji 5. Polt 6. aLive 7. Supernova 8. Ganzi 9. Bomber 10. GhostKing Yeah I would Taeja and theSTC over the bottom three. Hmmm... I guess GhostKing and Bomber's spot would be a wildcard. But I feel strongly for Ganzi's spot and remain there.
Ganzi is a solid Code S Terran, but not really top 10 material. Last GSL season he made it out of the first round, and then straight down to Code A from the round of 16. He failed to make it through the Up and Downs with a 1-3 score. Then he made it to the IPL groups and failed to make it out with an 0-4 score. He made it to top 6 in the MLG Winter Championship, but he lost to Heart. Heart is sick good, but not really top 10 Terran. Ganzi still needs work on his TvP and his TvT and TvZ is inconsistent. Sometimes he looks super solid, and other times he looks Code A.

Anyone explain what the games earlier are for? Why did Naniwa and Genius play against each other?

Going that route you're never going to discover players before they start winning big tournaments, after which their success is obvious to all. A smart observer needs to be able to see great players before they score huge wins.
The point is? I'm not a blardy talent scout. I'm just a fan. People rank players based on their result. You don't call an unknown player with little to no results a top tier player until he actually achieves it. The nerve of me to say we should wait for results before judging a player.

You're right, I didn't watch the game and I don't know how good these zergs are except nerchio so maybe that 5 levels above comment was out of place.
|
Why is the 720+p stream barely better in quality than the free GSL stream? Something weird is going on.

rets play is so beautiful here

DRG said in an interview that he felt like he fell behind in the metagame (causing his loss in GSL groupstages) because he travelled for MLG, so lost less than 1 week of practice...
