Pretty sure TLO is gonna be the first full time pro to get eliminated, bye bye. You would pick Snute over TLO? I'm not too sure about that. I don't think the skill difference between them is big enough to call. i would pick Snute over TLO/MaNa, and TLO over MaNa. MaNa's PvZ is terrrrrrrible.
The only question is: What is more terrible? MaNa's PvZ or TLO's ZvP?
Hard call, but I'm going with MaNa winning it.

why does everyone think manas PvZ is still aweful? he got quite decent at it, he wins more then he losses at least vs sheth in cgs

His recent record in TLPD does look awful (15-29 which is 34% against Zerg in the last two months, 4-12 in series), but I don't think he is as bad against Zerg as we are making him out to be, I have to agree.

Mana's pretty competent at the game in general and eats up bad/decent Zergs for breakfast, or Zergs with especially bad ZvP, he just seems to NEVER beat the actual good Zerg players of that matchup, kind of strange.

To be fair, group C and group K each have 3 pretty well known players. Plus there's still always the chance of an upset.

2 groups out of 16 isn't particularly exciting and you can't rely on upsets. The games could still be good though, but the storylines are fairly minimal at this point.

I think this is basically it. Whereas his PvP and PvT are both fully capable of upsetting seemingly better players (Mana has beaten MC, Puma etc) he's never really scored a big win in PvZ, it's resolutely average.

I got a feeling Nerchio gonna do very well this tournament

Not to mention we also have genious and puma in group M and Naniwa and Hyun in group G. It's important to remember that only the 1st advances.

I think I'm most interested in Naniwa/Hyun. Naniwa says he has a poor PvZ so it'll be interesting to see if he can take Hyun.

Top 2 advance.

Really terrible format. Round two and the only thing we have to discuss is which mid-level pro out of TLO, Mana and Snute will be eliminated.

Oh you're right, completely overlooked that there was another group stage.

Think of this as round 2 of an MLG open bracket. The only difference is that there is not a pool play filled with pros playing out alongside it.
