Is it not... : 7 terran 7 protoss 2 zerg ... in RO16 ? So I guess it's extremely Terran heavy as well.
considering its 15 terrans in the start and 10 protoss its very protoss heavy

No, GSL it SUPPOSED to be 10 T, 3 P, 3 Z. So any number over 3 is P heavy. :D

Relentless pressure from SuperNova there, after those surprise storms hit I thought he was done.

Oh, we are not playing every game on Ohana, nice.

you can't compare the level of play then to now, plus the map pool was a joke back then

Amazing play by Naniwa! Swedish hero and best foreigner?

I'm guessing NaNi will get July or Leenock in the Ro8. Tomorrow's games should be awesome.

Just saying that although what Naniwas has done so far is awesome, I still think Jinro reaching two semis in a row is a bigger achievement. The man was one of the inventors of macro games as terran!

People were really, really terrible back then. You have to apply two very different standards to say that JInro's was the bigger achievement. That is, it takes more skill to get to ro8 today than to get to ro4 twice a year ago.

In a year this map pool / level will be a joke, however Naniwa deserves praise. Same with Jinro.

Nani might or might not be comfortable with July, its hard to say. Training in the same house they possibly know each others styles and builds, so it could be very awkward with lots of mind games, or very one sided.
As for Leenock, well he was defeated by Nani at the winter Arena what with Nani also mixing in some cheese and spice into his builds. But Leenock also has been looking solid recently.
It will be interesting because Nani was considered to be weak vs Zerg cheeses and/or all-ins, and he has overcome that weakness recently, and Leenock seems to have overcome his weakness to Protoss.
It will all be interesting, but really hard to predict.

Haha Nani! Amazing results!

Kinda like saying MacEnroe's Wimbledon wins are no big deal though.

Agree. If Nani makes it to the finals it's huge and first then he will pass Jinro for me. "Back then" it was a hard game to, it's not to get underestimated to get to Ro4 TWO times in a row!
Both of them deserve some praise either way. It's like saying Boxer is just some terran now....

Actually Best is killing zergs these days Artosis.
