Feels like the finalists for this season will come from Group C or D.
edit: Also, I wonder if the reason BoxeR chose now/this season to take a break, is because he's got both MMA and NesTea in his bracket, and probably doesn't stand a chance of advancing.
Oh wow nice observation, that most probably is at least a contribution to that decision ^^
(Also it would suck for MMA/Boxer to knock each other out lol)

Not that I'm complaining but what happened to Moletrap? Did he leave GOM?

Better not ask! Let's take things like they are and be happy (just a joke ). Don't know, but I suggest, that he'll be doing the 2nd stream.

A: Genius/Supernova Genius is a safe pick even with his early GSTL loss and loss to Supernova in last Bo32/Supernova and Virus are both dark horses, so I picked the one with a more reliable TvT (even though Virus is 1-0 head to head)/ I feel that Naniwa is such a risky pick, though I do like his chances in this group compared to other groups. B: MVP/HerO Hardest for me to predict since I think everyone has about an equal chance to get out. MVP should beat July and the next Bo3 (easier if he gets HerO). I would favor HerO in a PvZ against both July and Leenock, even though July has underrated ZvP and amazing protosses to practice with. C: MKP/PartinG Taeja/STC could prove me wrong, like RO32 with DRG/Jjakji, but Parting has arguably the best PvT right now and I believe MKP would be a safer pick than Taeja or STC. I would give the edge to MKP over Parting though, since he does have a winning record over him D: Squirtle/Oz Maru might need only one match up to practice, but the Protosses here are on fire and I favor all of the P's to take it over him. With that, Squirtle, Oz, and MC are three of the best PvPers in the world (all of them have >70% win rate and have beaten former PvP king InCa in a Bo3 in this year). I would go Squirtle and Oz, because of MC's shaky PvP play. I hope the Boss Toss proves me wrong though.
As for the Parting vs MKP finals, Parting has a hard road for the finals. His PvP is, in my opinion, inferior to Oz, Squirtle, MC for his possible Ro8. He has to root for Maru to take 1st/2nd if he goes 2nd/1st respectively. He could even face a solid PvPer Genius in the Ro4 too or a Zerg (since his weakest matchup seems to be PvZ). On the other hand, MKP after the group would have a Protoss or teamkill vs his prodigy, and he'd be favored. However, Squirtle did 2-0 him in IPL, so we don't know. MKP could also run into a resurgent MVP or a consistent yet inconsistent Supernova or the guy that knocked him out last season Genius or the best ZvTer right now Leenock in the Ro4

I'm still hoping for Parting v MKP in the finals.
I think they should both make it out of group C, but I'm a bit concerned about Parting's PvP failing him in later rounds. Maybe he'll luck out and get Maru from group D.

He's good, but his wrists are hurting and he can't practice
I voted Mvp just because.

Picks:
Group A: Genius & SuperNova Group B: MVP & Leenock Group C: Parting & MKP Group D: Oz & Squirtle
I do not forsee any real surprises or upsets this time around. MC is in a bad group with two protosses that I think can beat him in a Bo3, even if he can beat MaruPrime (likely), so I don't see him advancing.

MoleTrap has been casting OgnLoL (League of Legends gom-like season long tournament) with TorcH on some weekdays. Don't know if he actually left GOM or is working part-time with them or something.
Also, there's no more 'dual streams' and the schedule was adjusted, with it starting much earlier so they can show all 8 matches/day.

Ah, that explains his in-depht knowledge of the current game.

Moletrap is casting League of Legends for OGN now. He'll not be casting for GOM anymore.

I have a feeling this news will make a lot of people happy.

I hope for a protoss champion but I don't know if any of them have quite what it takes. What it takes to beat MKP that is.

Why no supernova on poll? I really think this could be his season.

I really want HerO to win. GOGO HERO.

How awesome would it be if Nani won

This awesome moment when more people think that MKP will win the GSL than Mvp. =D

Wow, from someone that followed him from his BW Youtube beginnings, I am quite shocked actually. I didn't even know he played LoL let alone cast it. He never casted any games on his Youtube channels either.
I am rather doubtful it was a case of higher salary. Even if OGN did offer more money, for a person like Moletrap to betray his passion for Starcraft... There had to be a higher reason.
Two reasons I see possible for moving to OGN for LoL:
1) He knows a majority or at least a very vocal minority of the SC2 community hates him a lot. So he decided to pack his bags and move to greener grass where he won't be heckled.
2) The more likely reason is that he hopes by working with OGN, even through LoL, it would give him a chance to cast Proleague or Starleague if they decided to start casting those games in English as well. For such a BW scene lover like Moletrap, that is truly a dream come true.

Naniwa and Hero will choke.
