Except Goliaths have the range to compete with Brood Lords and do their damage to single target instead of splash which is worthless against beefy brood lords.
Plus this is also assuming Goliaths were on the SC2 engine which would make them obviously less retarded.

Anyone like how efficient Leenock is with his infestors? He only makes a few infestors all game long and knows how to keep them alive and land good fungals.

It's possible (though not recommended) to counter broodlords with marines and thors.
Very few people have done that well though. (Especially if infestors/blings are backing up the broods)
