Atleast this time around half the games will be tvt, so I can actually play some ladder to keep me awake. Either Nestea or MKP to take it. Nestea is not throwing away leads for once, and I would love MKP to win another event, just for the sake of having a consistent best player for once. | ||

This is all there is on the IPL website concerning the series. Why do people keep talking about extended series, second sets in the finals and BO5 in the grandfinal? Ther's nothing of this sort on the IPL official tournament/rules page. | ||

Quarterfinal NesTea 1-2 Squirtle Stephano 1-2 Bomber MarineKing 2-1 MMA Polt 1-2 aLive + Show Spoiler + NesTea seems to be a threat again, but Squirtle is very very strong right now so I see him winning. Stephano seemed to do well against Bomber when he was in korea, but at that time Bomber was kinda slumping whereas now he has recovered and will be very hungry for victories after the disappointing GSTL final. MMA is very strong but he was far from invincible in TvT in his groupstage whereas MarineKing is very hot and wants to take revenge on MMA badly after the disappointing Super Tournament loss. Polt is very good but TvT is aLive best match-up by far and Polt will probably fall against aLive methodical style. Semifinal Squirtle 2-1 Bomber MarineKing 2-0 aLive + Show Spoiler + Bomber is the most known of these two StarTale players but Squirtle's recent form will allow him to win. It could go either way though. aLive is very strong in TvT but seems close with MarineKing and has been kinda trashed by the King in the GSL, I suspect that the mindgames favor MarineKing here. Winners Final Squirtle 1-3 MarineKing + Show Spoiler + MarineKing always beat Squirtle, I suspect that the mindgames favor him here too and his TvP is superb. Losers Round 1 NesTea 2-1 Stephano MMA 2-1 Polt + Show Spoiler + Stephano is very scary in ZvZ and does very well against koreans zergs, but NesTea will have studied him and will prepare accordingly to destroy him if they have to meet. However I see Stephano taking a game. Polt has trained a lot in TvZ in order to beat Stephano, I don't think that he has trained that much in TvT therefore MMA will finally be able to beat his TvT nemesis. Losers Round 2 MMA 0-2 Bomber NesTea 1-2 aLive + Show Spoiler + I don't see MMA winning against Bomber since he lost to him in groupstage and Bomber wants to win badly to make up for the GSTL. NesTea beat aLive in the past but aLive's play was kinda weird and I expect him to play much better now. NesTea will not have enough stamina to beat him again. Losers Round 3 Bomber 1-2 aLive + Show Spoiler + I don't see aLive losing to Bomber because of his amazing TvT. Could go either way though. Losers Final aLive 1-3 Squirtle + Show Spoiler + Squirtle will be helped by Bomber and many other players, he will prepare better than aLive resulting in a crushing victory. Grand Final Squirtle 1- 4 MarineKing + Show Spoiler + MarineKing claiming another victory in his best match-up against an opponent he knows very well. | ||
