This is not the place to talk about LoL viewership. This is also not a place to caster bash/balance whine/flame, etc. Please don't argue about how many views LoL has, or which game is better, or we will be upset. (added page 174) Also, lay off Scarlett please. (added page 227)

The downtime between games is too much and the second stream doesn`t air many games. Yep. They have plenty casters too, they could air games nonstop on that stream. Seems like they use that stream more for ads, though. OR something isn't working as well as it should.

It's going the same way as BW. Yeah, it really feels like it. Alot of the recent tournaments have been going this way with a very few guys trying desperately to hold the foreigner flag high. I prolly wouldn't call it dead as much as I'd call it just plain bad, though. Although its obvious that the foriegn scene is, lacking for lack of a better word, to the Korean scene, this tournament doesnt have ALL of the best foriegn players. I believe ALL the mouz and all (minus violet) of the empire guys are chilling in the European tournaments instead. There are plenty of really good non koreans (Naniwa, Morrow, Thorzain, Mana, Hasu, Kas, Happy, hell even Xigua and Macsed) missing, where besides DRG and MVP, it looks like almost all the korean powerhouses are around I mean, you are right, but it just feels like this has been the scenario in most of the big tournaments in 2012. I don't know this, but I'm wondering - isn't the reasaon they are not here because they didn't qualify? Of course you could argue that they could show up for the open bracket, but still.... There has been a lot of foreigner vs koreans upsets in big tournaments this year, but there has also been lots more koreans competing. What's happening is that you beat one and there's always another one waiting around the corner. When there's not you win the Lone Star Clash.

Both MLG and IPL4 (being the 2 major tournaments) have had a few of the star foriengers missing. And most players didnt qualify really, technically only 4 or 5 players qualified and the others were invited (depending on whether or not you count winning a previous tournament as an invite or a qualification). And yes I feel like if they were also in the open bracket we'd see less Korean domination

It's working now because he destroyed Puma's army, but it's not a smart move. He wouldn't do so if he hadn't crushed the army before. Also its not very stupid, but rather clever. Mech scales with the army size. 5-7 tanks are less scary to engage than 16 by a lot. You easily need 3-4 times the army to engage such a tank count later on, if you can engage at all. Yes, it was a brute force move to end the game, but the backfire potential was huge, and IIRC he didn't break the rocks, which made it worse. The thing is, there really isn't much backfire potential. He knew that puma was light on tanks, so he could actually trade "decently enough", and he's on 2-3 base while puma is on 1. The backfire potential of letting a mech-er build up their deathball is imo a lot more. Puma was on 2-3 bases - he had a hidden one that Polt was able to go after, but instead Polt took the risky move of going up that ramp. Yes, it's scary letting mech reach critical mass, but Polt had other cost efficient options for trading, I think. Taking out that PF at the bottom, dropping in multiple places to force Puma out of position, etc.

They had alternative to play The Gathering/Assembly/Copenhagen Games lans which have decent prize pool and barely few Koreans + they skipped long trip to USA and back.

The thing is with Pewma is that he just doesn't seem to be able to consistently overcome serious Korean opponents; I don't know what his practice situation is with EG, but he needs something to push him to that next level. Maybe it's a confidence thing? This is just so wrong. Did you miss IEM World Championships? He beat MMA and then nearly beat MC what I said: "...be able to consistently overcome..." I didn't say he didn't play well ever. Just that he had a consistency problem.
