Yes, yes she did

This is not the place to talk about LoL viewership. This is also not a place to caster bash/balance whine/flame, etc. Please don't argue about how many views LoL has, or which game is better, or we will be upset. (added page 174) Also, lay off Scarlett please. (added page 227)

This is JUST AMAZING! We can call MKP the best player in the world when he wins a GSL. You sir, have retarded standards. Na, when he wins the GSL then he can be called the best. Till then we'll see how he does. So if someone hypothetically outperforms GSL-winners in more tournaments than vice versa(tournaments that mostly consists of the same players at the top), they can't be called the best because the name of the tournament is wrong? The format matters. In GSL, you know your opponent in advance and can practice for him, plan for him, and your condition is great and you can show your best. In other tournaments, other factors than pure skill come into play. That's fine, there's nothing wrong with that, it's part of being a good player to do well in them. I just, personally, think that he should be able to win in a tournament of GSL format before we should announce him as the best like it's a fact. Winning with a strategy vs a specific player is actually easier than facing him randomly in fast format tournament and relying on pure skill vs pure skill. Not really, that player is doing the same thing vs. you. Either way it's irrelevant, the format is different and allows for different types of strategies and skills, and I feel that the best player in the world, if we want to declare someone as that, should be someone who wins in both formats.

It just seemed he was so intent on aggressive play he went way overboard... Not only that, both games he move-commanded his sentries into spine crawlers, losing them all I'd hate to say nerves, but what else could it be? I have to agree with you, though with white-ra's tournament experience I would think he's immune to suchs ;-).

The thing is we might need a "best weekend tournament player" and "best GSL player" categories because it's really, really different metagame. Also I don't know if having one week to train for a specific opponent amounts to "true skill". I would just say it's a different setting. Or maybe we should just quit engaging in arguments that impossible to win? Right now it looks like there are top-tier players who peak at different times, and are affected by things like patches metagame etc. Why do we have this visceral need to declare someone as "the best"?
