Losing all those infestors on the first engagement was pretty rough.
I'm trying to think what he could have done better...

Pretty sure no other champion has ever lost to the player they picked. Does the champion/runners-up pick their opponents for the ro32 like last season?
Not sure why he didn't pick a weaker player (e.g. Inca)?

MC getting crushed by MVP is pretty famous, yes.

Pretty sure no other champion has ever lost to the player they picked. Wtf? DRG picked TheSTC? Why he wouldn't he pick Polt or Naniwa..... STC's TvZ looked really, really eh until now lol. or DRG just played bad, not sure.

Polt's TvZ is better than StC's and Naniwa has beaten DRG before.
StC usually has pretty bad TvZ.

Because Polt is a beast? Naniwa would have been a good pick though, given that he has like a 10% winrate in GSL

Can't see it happening. Nestea is past his peak I'm afraid.

The greedy third by STC just couldn't be countered without mutas. STC new that DRG would go ultras. It proves that you can't do the same strat every time. BTW Tastosis suck nowadays, they need to play some games in high masters and update game knowledge.

He's a beast in foreign tournaments.

Well I don't see why he would pick him in the first place outside of the fact that they both went to MLG, but there were other players that went to MLG also...
Guess DRG figured he was the worst Code S player that was also going to MLG.

Polt has looked like a much stronger tvz'er than thestc recently, but this last game suggested thestc has definitely improved in the match-up. I agree though, naniwa would have seemed like a more sensible choice.

That's actually the best decision Terran need to make in this kind of game. You need to push out with 2-2, and it's near 160/170 supply. If you wait for max, Hive tech kick in in time.

so true Artosis, but MMA/MKP/MVP established themselves way earlier.
