Because that's a VERY inefficient opening.
If july uses his july sense and suspects that's what's going to happen he can just play standard and end up way ahead in the midgame.
July's only real weakness is the late game. he can handle midgame TvZ well enough especially if his opponent opens with something like a siege expand.

Every single player has been playing to July's strengths. How hard would it be to watch Boxer's game and just go gas-first reactored hellions and do excessive damage initially, then just transition into the safest standard play possible?
Every player tonight has shown their mind-games and decision making, at least, is Code A level IMO.

July's late game is weak because he doesn't get to practice it much. People don't live that long against him.

you make a good point wih the "july sense". because some players are magically able to predict what the opponent is doing without proper scouting right? honestly it feels to me everybody are playing like donks today at gsl.

He tries to practice his lategame but then he senses blood in the water and just goes fucking kill him.

We are talking about Supernova vs July right? He did a pretty normal 12/14 with 1 built on the edge of his base and lifted to the low ground, built a bunker on the lowground outside July's natural and then built one at the top of the ramp. He brought 1 SCV.

If Happy wins this game, the group is over, I think.
Creator couldn't qualify due to even if getting to 2-2, Supernova beat him and so did Happy.
Happy couldn't qualify because the best he could hope for is for Supernova to lose to Boxer in the final game, but Supernova beat him.
I'm pretty sure the group is over if Happy wins.
