Aww hoped creator would get through he's really impressed me lately in team league stuff seems like their go to guy after Mkp.

Yesssssss July! Had no more expectations for July so I'm so happy that he made it back into Code S before having to leave for the military.

|
I always question whether July will continue to do well, but then he does. :D I was hoping Creator would make it through though. Oh well, he is young and will have many chances to do well.

SuperNova grr why did you all-in Creator -;- this game made me so angry, Creator has a sick potential but he still can't post good enough results in individual leagues . I guess I'll have to wait more. I'm happy that July got through because his games are often interesting one way or another, and that's amazing that people still lose to his tricks (SuperNova vs July on bel'shir winter!) even knowing how agressive he can be :D.
|
Well, Creator may be good, but he needs to be more rush/cheese resistant or he will get eaten alive in Code S so I think the results are pretty deserving.
|
At times I really can't deal with the shouting match between wolf and moletrap. The july vs happy game is driving me insane.
Edit: Boxer looked like he was either very tired or sick.

Genius should pick Ryung. Can't they only choose players in bottom 8 of GSL rankings though? That'd be: Virus, TheStC, Maru, BBBB, July, Polt, Naniwa, Squirtle I think DRG will choose Naniwa, and Genius will pick Virus/Maru 1000th naniwa is a big threat for DRG, their games were so close at dreamhack/winterarena and naniwa beat him 2-0 @providence. Seed,Virus and InCa safer picks for DRG. Winter Arena wasn't close at all iirc, and Nani's 2-0 at providence was because of DRG's apparent food poisoning haha, and Nani's FFE or die trying has been since figured out. with DRG's amazing ZvP of late, I reckon Nani is his easiest choice of the bottom 8. Virus is probably a good choice too, but he may leave that one for Genius or something. Not sure if Seed or Inca are eligible, but Inca is probably a solid choice if he is. For fuck sake, can a Korean losing ever be explained without reference to some mystery illness, or jetlag? Nani outplayed him at Providence, and there have been other extremely close series between the two.
Oh look, it's the jet lag and food poisoning don't exist guy.
It's been mentioned on SOTG that DRG had food poisoning on Day 3 on Providence. It's a fact and there's no way you can play even close to properly like that which is probably why DRG won 1 and lost 6 on day3.
DRG is superior to Naniwa in every aspect of the game and has destroyed him easilly every other time they've played and would destroy him again in Code S no problem.

What a disappointing night.

I was hoping for Creator and July to make it in, but seeing how Supernova was also in the group it's impossible to count him out. Even though Creator lost a disappointing first match against Supernova I think that he'll learn a lot from that loss and make it directly into Code S through the Code A of season 2.

Wow, I never knew DRG had food poisoning back then... how did it happen? Proper "food poisoning" can't happen without particular causes, but you can still suffer very tedious problems when you are simply not used to the kind of food you are eating.

Didn't this get explained in some interview? He had really good mexican (authentic) stuff when he came to MLG Anaheim, and wanted that again when he was in Providence, but sadly, the northeast is not particularly known for it's mexican food, and I think someone (catsPJ?) took him to Taco Bell since it was the only thing around, and if you've never eaten taco bell before in your LIFE, then eat what they call meat (hey most of us have eaten it, and we do fine, but we grew up eating this crap) you can see how it'd destroy someone's insides.

That's probably why you're not in Code S. Or do well in TvZ or TvP.
Explain to me how my post is wrong, because that's what I see when I watch gsl.
(by the way I was talking about how ZERGS can die to random early cheeses, not terrans).

Happy to see July get through. He did it by simply stopping some rushes, rather than long macro games, but they were very nice defenses. :-)

July is the only player in the world who can play this style without getting raped by legions of angry fans...
What a boss
