Why so much hate? We all play the same game and there is no need for that sort of remark. PiG is a top caliber player by all server standards. Don't talk about stuff you obviously have no clue about. Didn't your mother ever tell you, if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing at all?

I'm sure PiG isn't bad but compare him to the available competitor list. PiG hasn't proved himself at all while most of these players on this list have pretty big accomplishments. I mean, to be honest, barring 2 or 3 players - everyone has proven to be a better player. And I said proven, as in at least qualified or competed in an international LAN event with top players.

If proven skill was the most important factor in the last position then clearly they wouldn't have opened it up to a poll and made it a popularity contest. Regardless of what you think about proven skill the original comment is still a completely bullshit attitude. Not to mention completely wrong. The top of SEA server all play almost exclusively on NA/KR ladders and all do incredibly well.

It's not because they're any worse then the players on other servers. It's that people don't give them a shot because they haven't competed in a large international events. Why haven't they competed in these events? Because no one gives them a shot. It's a circle that is detrimental to the scene as a whole.
