Then he got a decent opponent in merz which is also one of the weakest if not the weakest of all groupwinners. His only outstanding result was the 2-0 against morrow. What happens? People compare him to Stephano... I mean he might be good and talented, nothing to say about that - but really on Stephanos level? When he says on his own that he practiced quite much for this tournament? Don't understand me wrong, I also see him as a really good terran but at this current moment he is WAY below other euro topterrans. The "what... if.... might" thing doesn't really count. Tell that to Nerchio who himself said the last time Luci was active that he "would" be the best terran in Euro.....Nerchio obviously doesn't know much about peoples current skill or talent after all ^^

People act like Lucifron would have been completly inactive because he didn't participate in cups etc.. But on the other hand when you count laddergames alone he had over 600 games last season and ~380 this season. Plus the amount of cgs he MIGHT have played with his brother (and when i don't misunderstood them completly they play quite a lot together). It's not that he came from nowhere and defeated the whole european elite. As I said he is really good but not on that level that people put him within the last 2 pages of this thread. And to conclude my posting: Do you believe everything that Nerchio says?

Isn't that the point that he really only started playing seriously again in the last two months or so and is back on a super solid skill level already?

Luci been GM the whole time, he been playing on a relatively high lv for a year now. And for a guy like him, top gamer for so many years, how much does he lose when he only plays 2-3 houres a day too 8 houres a day? and he been playing prolly 9+ houres a day last 2 months. He is good, but I gotta agree with Sauron here, he cant be compared with Stephano, Huk, koreans etc.

I saw it coming, told ya LucifroN could win. He is the most talented terran player europe has, the guy is a genius ![]() I played against him when he just started playing again and his play was already scary back then, no wonder he topped the GM league easily few days after.

That's not supposed to happen, players from the same group should be placed in opposite sides of the bracket >_> I think brackets were random draw. Lets hope Grubby beats Lucifron so we can avoid a mirror final.

The replays will surely confirm my idea.

I m certain morrow will crush him in the near future very easily. I guess he has just been surprised by Lucifron cheese style (drop hellion, allin mass hellion, rush mass banshee, or another shitty strat). The replays will surely confirm my idea. I like the part where you confirm your own ignorance.
