Thats just not realistic. Demuslim is in form and he's beaten better players than Diestar in TvT recently. Puma has incredible TvP, I can see feast taking a game but not 2. Incontrol vs Adelscott - Inc's probably most reliable in PvP. JYP vs Stephano can go either way, but should be an epic game whatever.

Feast just 2-0ed both SuperNova and Kas at IEM and went a total of 4-1 in his group, winning it.
casting my own game will be really funny but I haven't seen any of the other games so it should be fun... usually casting yourself/own team is kinda bad but I will do my best to make it fun :D

I actually think it's very interesting when one of the players involved tells us more about his thoughts while playing, what he could/should have done better and what his opponent did very well or could improve upon. A bit like the Artosis hour with the actual player himself.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Puma vs Feast and JYP vs Stephano, I think I'm gonna stay up for this.

It would be awesome if you could walk us through your thoughts while playing the game. What prompted you to do this over that, etc.

Id go with puma, but feast is playing really well at IEM PvP is a strange matchup at the best of times, and havent heard/seen anything from Adel in a long time, so im gonna go with incontrol Id have to back demuslim, but diestar is a great player
and if it goes to a 4th game - i just have no idea. I dont think Stephano has played against someone whos PvZ is quite as good as JYPs but stephano has been on a hell of a run, especially in ZvP

Feast just 2-0ed both SuperNova and Kas at IEM and went a total of 4-1 in his group, winning it.
And Puma took MaNa out 2-0, who has some good TvP, and Killer 2-1. He's still the favorite. 2-2 I say...
Great match-ups, I can't wait to see how this turns out.
The only issue I have with casting your own game is that you know who wins. Should still be a great series today, JYP vs Stephano should be really good.
After (or I guess before) his performance at IEM so far, it'll be interesting to see Feast against PuMa.
Adel - Incontrol : easiest choice, Adel has shown some great PvP lately, so I'll go with him. If Incontrol manages to go to late game, he might take it though. Puma - Feast : very hard, Puma is Puma, but Feast's rise is consistent and his PvT is very good. I'll still go with Puma. Diestar - DeMusliM : DeMuslim, who seems to me to be a more solid player. Tense match as well though. JYP - Stephano : hard to not to bet on Stephano on this one if he plays seriously. JYP has its chances though, very exciting match. So 2 - 2, and the ace match will have to be Stephano vs someone, Stephano being the best of the competitors here, he is expected to take it, but nothing is granted
So 3 - 1 or 3 - 2 should be the score, and Millenium 55% - 45% EG as match result probability
Folks, as our OP states, the match between EG.JYP and Mill.Stephano has been delayed due to scheduling conflicts surrounding the IEM World Championship which is taking place in Germany this week.
Don't worry! Even if the results are not final after the matches shown tonight, the EG.JYP versus Mill.Stephano match will be aired next week regardless. Check out our official statement:
Man no one in this thread is giving EG a chance. All 4 of those guys are playing well at the moment. I could easily see them taking this. 3-1 EG is my vote.
Edit: I'm really looking forward to Inc casting himself..
Gotta say, Incontrol is a very entertaining and also insightful caster. His sexual innuendo's when he saw Thorzain defeat Korean protosses Alicia and Crank the other day were just hilarious.

Yeah, they mentioned that earlier in the stream. This is the first time this has been shown.
Puma is just doing a Banshee build... Not really a one base 1/1/1 aggression like they make it out to be. Still even talk about it after seeing two CCs >_>.

yup tumor blocks the perfect place so even zerg needs detection there, but can take it asap afterwards, while the other races have to wait a bit. I really like this idea. Evens the time a bit on when what race can take an island.

That is Orb.
I mean Mr. Bitter, not Orb. At IEM Kiev Bitter was really confident that Feast was going to take out supernova if they met. They never played at Kiev but they played last night and Feast ended up 2-0ing supernova.
haha immortal range 6 now biting blizzard in the butt. But nice mind game by feast, even if he didn't attacked he got 2 workers out of this. Immortals so good against bunkers and marauders now in the early game.

I thought Incontrol covered it beautifully. If Feast loses his army he has no tech and expansion to fall back on. So if PuMa is on 2 base (since Feast didnt scout the hidden 3rd) why not just contain PuMa with a maxed army.

Now that's just not true. There are plenty of times when I'm 50 supply above a protoss as zerg but I just can't attack him because of his positioning with FF + collosus.

Quite a few toss players can't attack Zerg because of mutas..

It's quite standard that zerg is ahead 50 supply in early midgame

oh.. thanks for the clarification
Large thread on reddit or catch LO3 vods if you want more info. I personally think Orb needs to be more careful with sharing accounts but I do believe that it wasn't him.

Yeah but if you count 1 supply for each roaches (it's not absurd considering stalker cost 2 times more and cost 2 supply) you don't get easily 50 supply lead. Roaches are just an easy way to inflate your supply. If you have roaches and the same supply than your opponent it's not a good sign.

well they were a 1 supply unit once, which worked quiet well in the supply counts, but lategame got a bit one sided.
That's smart from inc, the prob is assuming he doesn't scout every single game. If sometimes he decide to not scout in the first game, and then always scout incontrol is screwed :D
On March 08 2012 12:41 IMoperator wrote: i missed the game what happened?
iNcontroL 2gate proxied inside Adelscott's base because Adel never scouts, and he killed the pylon powering Adel's gateway at 42/42 (yet the stalker didn't pop lol). And iNcontroL's gateways weren't really positioned that well, but him casting himself and talking about his thought process made it amazing.
Having an EG player commentate EG's match is a bit odd, but I'm liking it, he has good insight behind the team and players, and Geoff analyzing his game is also quite entertaining.

I think Stephano was questioning his lack of scouting in a ladder game earlier today too. I'm happy to hear so much anti-non-scouting today .
He just said he doesn't scout in ladder games because he doesn't care about the result. He always scout in tournaments, to not get screwed like adel. It's fine to not socut when you're not predictable about it, i.e doing this once in a Bo3 or so

Impossible you need a program todo that and then its cheating

Binding mouseclick to scroll wheel down? Nope.
It is indeed not cheating, morrow confirmed it the thread (and I think I saw it used in GSL). Btw with some mouse you can rebind without using a programm, so not sure what you can do about it :D
Just turned to see Feast absolutely BEASTING it up, taking Puma 2-1. Yeah, easily one of the best foreign protoss and I'd say he could give the koreans a run for their money
I don't know if this game is boring as hell or hilariously entertaining, but this is probably the only 40 minute TvT that I've stayed awake for. Because of the nukes' potential for killing everything.

demuslim is not dead, if he can crush diestar in this battle he's fine. However, he needs to crush diestar. if his army dies, even if he kills diestar's army, then it is over.

I have no idea why he attacked that mid. He had the vastly superior air army. All he had to do was move around it, and attack the main of Diestar, it would have forced diestar away from the tank line with his air army and he would have lost it to Demuslims air army. Then he would have had to push into demuslims tank line or retreat... Why he would attack into 60 turrets with air only is beyond me. Its too bad, because he normally has great decision making.

20 at a time. Against baneling/infestor. It also contains the Rickroll baneling mines and what DjWheat calls "a Zerg player's wet dream."

2 on 4 so far. DieStar had his best matchup and Adelscott is getting back in shape, so these 2 were expected. But Feast against PuMa was a surprise; PuMa is really strong in TvP (1-1-1 master ^^). Now Stephano vs JYP shouldn't be too hard to win for Stephano.

As far as this tournament is concerned, the EG site is superior to liquidpedia. Its easy to use, informative, and convenient. They have schedule of matches + whose casting, awesome player profiles that include statistics regarding previous EG masters cup, and important up to the minute news (like jyp and stephano being postponed.)
I don't see a reason to post redundant information when they took the effort to create an entire new webpage dedicated to the masters cup.
Incontrol and Orb is quickly turning into one of the top top casting pairs there is. It feels like they've allready casted together for a very long time because they have really smooth transitions and good chemistry.
Incontrol is funny as F*** while being well spoken and analytical (he's maybe just one notch below Artosis) and orb is growing on me with his knife sharp analysis and being eloquent. I wish these guys all the luck and I hope I get to see more from them in the future.

Good games, great production (apart from the sound levels when the commentators scream into the mic on occasion, mainly orb), thanks again for another team league.
Also really like the way you guys handle the commercials, it may sound strange and irrelevant but watching some decent adverts instead of the same one advert repeated ad nauseum like a lot of tournaments do (IEM, MLG) has a small but significant impact on how much I actually enjoy watching a SC2 stream.

What is crazy is that while Feast did blow a winning position, it shows how easily he could have 2-0 a top TvP player. Hopefully he learns a lot from that game, and becomes an even better player.
