Any update on the waiting list? I'd kinda like to know if it's still a possibility of my competing or not.

If I could make a suggestion, I really enjoyed the panel that IPL 2 had, where a panel of Cats, HD and Painuser would give their thoughts and predictions after each game. It's very similar to Dreamhack Winter's caster couch, and I'd love to see more of that at IPL 4.

Judging by the low numbers of people dropping out, we probably will not be able to accommodate much in the way of passes for most waitlisted people

We strongly recommend that you bring your own, as backups are meant to be loaned out if headsets are broken or lost at the event. Any earbuds or headset will do!

Question, do we have to bring our ipod to listen to music? Or can we use Pandora while playing? I know on main stages and such players always have earbuds below their headsets, for sound proofing, but I was always curious what they're listening to/how the open bracket works in the same regard.
As a 2nd question, just to be annoying, how is the open bracket floor set up? Can spectators just stand around players playing like MLG? Or is it sanctioned off?
Thanks <3

First timer her. I has quest: 1. Will we be able to bring in water or anything from outside into the event area? 2. Will we be able to buy adult beverages in the main event area? 3. Is it fairly common to bring laptop/iPad etc to kill time between matches? 4. What is the food situation usually like inside the event area?
Another useful tips or info anyone wants to offer up to a first timer? Can't wait!

Earbuds are for the in-game sounds. The external headsets are used for soundproofing + playing white noise at some db level to further isolate it from the outside.
I think open bracket isn't too concerned.. so it's just a headphones of any sort. There aren't announcers for your match in the open bracket in most cases.
