1. Yes, water bottles and thermoses should be fine.
2. Yes, alcohol will be sold in and around the venue.
3. Many people do bring iPads, but there will likely be no Internet connectivity available for spectators inside the venue.
4. Food will be sold very nearby to the qualifier area and main stage area. It's also Las Vegas, so there's all kinds of food sold in the hotel or out on the strip.

As far as other tips, bring comfy clothes and shoes, and something to get autographed!

They do exist, and we did mention them when discussing this. We still could change this, as it's more of a policy we considered than a hard and fast rule.

But if it's true that nobody has banned mp3 players previously, we're not going to be the ones to end that trend. We will still ask that nobody installs anything or uses browser based apps to listen to music if at all possible. It's too hard to regulate that sort of thing and we'd prefer not to have any issues pop up in the middle of a game or series.
