GL to MLG though!
MVP on the latest teaser MLG posted has the same cap as when he won his last MLG Event I think, SHIT JUST GOT REAL. I was really surprised when everyone on SOTG counted him out although the only thing we saw from him was his code s dropout.
I think the main thing going against MVP (people write him off because of one bad day? So sad..) is that the ghost nerf impacts him more than most terrans. MVP is the king of ghosts.

then get out of our LR thread and go watch assembly.
Just saw the original post with today's schedule. So good. What first round are we all looking forward to the most? I think Demuslim v Nestea. Demuslim as the underdog makes a great story and I hope he can win it!

How is that merely a warning? It's not the least bit constructive, is only meant to grief which has been done enough in other threads for the past two weeks, and is martyring.
Just a little confused as to why that's just a warning.
Anyway, think I'm gonna write up a little hype thread for the awesomeness when I get off work this evening. Really hoping for some Canadian Victories here.
To me MLG is a special event ! ASUS ROG is just another generic tournament that we barely get to see anything but the games ... doesn't feel any different than a generic online tournament.
MLG we see the crowd, the stage, and the event is so much more epic.... its the total package.
edit: not to mention the MLG player list is wayyy more impressive

Kinda funny off-topic story - my friend works at a bar called Public House and she texts my other friend saying "im serving 42 international sc2 players right now" and she sent him a pic of the MLG winter arena handbook.. haha

Depends how you see it. Both have a fair enough amount of games that we can see for X bucks. Except that MLG is packing it up into only 2-3 days span. I think we can say both are good, just that GSL is still giving SQ for free. GSL could definitely do better for their HQ though...

It is considered a premier event in liquipedia. I believe the reason there is no coverage is because they are doing the in-depth coverage with asus rog
