It should not needed to have been said, but don't post or request for restreams.

Also, don't come in here exclusively to whine about PPV.

I bought the ticket this morning and I'm going to watch the event, cheer for my favorite players, etc, but I do already kind of regret paying the $20.

I know the EU qualifier was broadcast first, maybe it was played first as well and he played in it for the extra chance to qualify?

I want to see how much money MLG make compared to the ASUS ROG. I suspect that, even though ASUS will get far more viewers, MLG will make more per viewer and end up getting more turnover. Of course, ASUS probably cost less to set up than the Winter Arena.

As far as the brackets, this is going to be wild; I know he's not getting much fan love these days but I do think IdrA has the chance to surprise people despite recent play--he's got a solid track record at live events and obviously takes them seriously. I think along with him HuK and Sheth are the big foreign hopes. Having a tough call on whether to watch LosirA v. MK or HuK v. Minigun in the first round. Second round obviously I want to watch IdrA's game and must confess I know nothing about Oz. Naniwa v. Grubby could be interesting.

I'm sorry, but Oz is Top 5 Protoss in the world. He will rip Idra to shreds. If Idra can't beat Avenge, he can't beat Oz.

He's on the team Empire now, maybe he was in Europe at the time of the EUR qualifiers.

Man, they are screwing over the Europeans big time! Finals are on sunday at around 3 to 4 am, wtf MLG? Serriously? Do you really need to hold the finals that late in the US aswell? We want to watch the finals in Europe live, and most of us have work and school, can you please try to schedule the finals to be at a reasonable time for CET, EST and South Korean time?

FFUUUUUU I'm so hyped up for this. I love MLG events, nothing beats them. Not ASUS ROG, not Dreamhack, nothing. $20 is a small price to pay for such a stacked tournament that's going on over three days. Every match is being streamed. Five streams at the same time. I CAN'T WAIT.

You're kidding, right? They're in New York City. Are they supposed to play at 2 in the morning just so Europe can watch at a decent time?

Everyone who was invited to play in the qualifiers chose themselves which region they wanted to play in.

8pm EST is 'late in the US' ?

As far as 'screwing' Euro viewers, I mean, it's a US tournament, what do you want them to do? Should Assembly change its schedule to be more schedule-friendly to US viewers?

Don't forget they have a lower bracket too. As well as Naniwa shouldn't have to face a zerg till DRG so he should be able to advance pretty far I think if he can get past grubby who is playing BEASTLY this year.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

I think at the time of the signups Violet might have assumed that quite a few koreans would play the US qualifier (which they should have done), but noone plays KR to EU.

That's called buyers remorse bud, The cure is this: give it a few hours and when the lights and cameras come on and MKP upsets Losira for once raise a beer and say to yourself "fuckin eh." It's gonna be a sick tourney.

Since it's not only us viewers it does make sense to try to find an optimal schedule for as many viewers as possible. This of course have to be balanced to be fair times for the players and logistic issues at the evenue (maybe it closed at a certain time and so on). It is the reality of any international tournament though and you can't please everyone. Personally I think it would be better to move the tournament one day earlier in the week so the final is played saturday/sunday. It would still be good times for us viewers but it would allow many international viewers to watch the finals live.

Dreamhack's finals are on a Monday during the time when I am waking up to get ready for work. That is very optimal for North American viewers. MLG is fine, because the Euro tournaments do the same thing to us. It is 11:30 in the morning and Assembly is in full swing. How is that fair? Don't tell me to get a better job where I can watch it or something along those lines, because I do work a Mon-Fri job 8am-4:30pm(which is optimal for most entertainment).
