LIQUID FIGHTING
After they 5-0'd EG, I'd love to see them tackle this entry-level Korean monster. >:D
Foreigners coming for the Korean blood! Watch out!
.... jk incoming Sheth 5-0

Hard to 5-0 someone when you play only one match ^^.
Hope Liquid smashes fxo gogo liquid!

My predictions... Ret < Lucky This could go either way, but I wasn't impressed by Ret's showing at IEM against Violet and Darkforce, and although I haven't watched a lot of Lucky's ZvZ recently, his early 2012/late 2011 games were really solid. I'll favor Lucky by a little bit. This game is very important to both teams. In fact, this game is by far the most important match of the entire series.
Zenio < GuMiho The only match where I think FXO is guaranteed, or at least super confident to win. GuMiho has really strong TvZ, and it showed when he knocked out Zenio in the GSL, add in that Zenio does poorly against a lot of Korean terrans, and GuMiho should take this match.
HerO > Tear Tear is completely unknown to me, no idea what he plays like, so he could be some godly PvPer for all I know. But HerO has been looking pretty solid on both his stream and he did beat a very good PvPer in JYP only a few days ago in GSL... It might be a close game... Who am I kidding, HerO's going to roflstomp him. (blatant fanboyism)
Sheth > Choya SHETH!!! <3 Off of his ridiculous all-kill against EG, and a very well-played match against JYP, I can't help but root for Sheth in this game. His ZvP looked great against Sase in the MLG qualifiers, and factoring in Choya's bad PvZ (he lost to Destiny...), Sheth should take this.
Ace Match I'll go with HerO vs GuMiho, in which GuMiho takes it barely 2-1. It pains me to say it, but HerO does badly against Korean Terrans, whether it's on ladder or at events. GuMiho looked great against Puzzle in GSL, and I'm going to assume that he will play the same way against HerO. Then again, HerO took out Kas, a strong TvP player last time in NASTL. Anything can happen Of course, Lucky might lose to Ret, and then itd be 3-1 Liquid ^^ The first Ret vs. Lucky match will be the pivotal point. If Ret wins, it'll most likely be 3-1 Liquid. If Lucky wins, FXO has a great chance of winning in the ace match with GuMiho. Just my predictions, they could be completely wrong...

ret > lucky zenio < gumiho hero > tear sheth > choya
the first game is going to be so key
I really want Liquid to win this. Lucky did beat Ret at IPL3, but I hope Ret can pull out the win in the Bo1. Zenio is the underdog against Gumiho. If I were Zenio I would strongly consider pulling a Lucky and doing a roach-ling or baneling bust otherwise Gumiho might just overrun Zenio's mid and late game. I hope Hero beats Tear, and I think he is favored to do so, but PvP is volatile in a Bo1. Finally, I think Sheth should be able to beat Choya.
Go Liquid! Let's get another sweep!

lets go tl! gooooood luck!
Both teams will go through to the knockout stage and no real pressure on either as I think the top 4 (Empire, Mous, Liquid and FXO) are all around the same level so the seedings into the final stage don't really have a huge meaning. However, I'm always happy to see Choya lose so go Sheth
Let's get to the playoffs already!
its going to be really hard I think this may be all of liquids worst matchups except for Sheth if we can make it there I hope we can though. Liquid Fighting!!
I'd say this is doable, looking good for Hero and Sheth.
I hope Ret can take his revenge for IPL3 too, remembering those 2 sneak Banelings is still painful. -__-

Liquid to win 3-1, even though I like FXO a tad more... I think the lag for Choya and Lucky work against them.

Oh, read this as IPL, not NASTL. xD
Still, Sheth gonna 5-0.

Anyway, this should be close but in favor of FXO (pretty obvious analysis xD) Ret < Lucky Zenio < Gumibear Hero > Tear Sheth > Choya anyone < Gumiho
Ret could win (but Zenio not, imo, his ZvT is too fragile imo, often falls apart late game vs strong Korean terrans), and obviously Hero and Sheth could lose. Basically if Ret loses, Liquid is done.
I think TL will take it 3:1:
Ret > Lucky - This matchup is tricky but i think Ret is even stronger than Sheth and since IPL final i kinda dont believe in Lucky's zvz aganist top foreign zerg.
Zenio < Gumiho - Gumiho is too good now, can even take GSL.
Hero > Tear - Hero doesnt dissapoint as of late. Should outclass Tear, but still its pvp so you never know.
Sheth > Choya - Sheth is a beast mode now and Choya isn't top korean.
Kinda sad Nony isnt participating in teamleagues but i guess he is not ready yet
I don't know which way to call it. Hero > Tear and Zenio < Gumiho are the two I am confident about. But the other two are very difficult for me to predict (I haven't seen a lot of Choya lately, how is his play?)
If Ret manages to beat Lucky, TL will have this. Like others have stated it's going to be insane for Zenio to beat Gumiho who's currently in tip top form. I believe HerO will beat Tear, and sheth can beat Choya, if he can fend of the cheese that is going to come.
3 - 1 for liquid, and otherwise 2 - 2 and 3 - 2 Liquid after Ace.
No Leenock? Team liquid takes this.
If only sheth could play every game!
Ret vs Lucky is going to be the key match for sure. If Ret wins, TL has 75% chance of winning. If he lose, only 25%. I sure hope the former will happen though. LIQUID FIGHTING!!!
FXO should win, because they have to feel a bit embarassed after losing 3-0 to mouz. I think it might be close if Liquid doesn't get any BO losses or something like that, but overall I'd give FXO an edge.
I love how teams put their Big players in NASTL but.. i hate the format...

ret > Lucky Zenio < GuMiho Hero > Tear Sheth > Choya Liquid wins 3-1
losing in solo league almost always leads to complete destruction in team league. im sorry zenio but gumiho is gonna kick the crap out of you
This is going to be a very close match. I honestly don't think Liquid will take it, but we'll see. Anything can happen.
Whole lot of great games happening tonight.
Liquid has been on fire lately. 3-1 I think.
i think if FXO has to end up relying on choya to stay in it, i think liquid will be able to take it. for example, liquid wins first 2, choya would have to win against sheth to get the ace match.
my predictions: ret < lucky zenio < gumiho hero > tear sheth > choya Ace could go either way
Lucky Gumiho Hero
then either choya wins and its 3-1 or sheth does and i think the ace match has to go in favour of FXO
Ret - Lucky
Zenio - Gumiho
Hero - Tear
Sheth - Choya
only one I'm not sure about is Ret vs Lucky zvz can swing so freaking fast.
if it goes to ace
Sheth - Leenock
Liquid takes this 3-1 IMO . . . if we're lucky, 4-0!
And poor Zenio, no one's giving him a chance against Gumi . . . I'll be the first to say that Zenio brings it home!
Liquid's not winning lol. I think Sheth will beat Choya if they go that far.
Ret > Lucky (unsure) Zenio < GuMiho HerO > Tear Sheth > Choya
Unless Lucky can beat Ret, TL will probably win.
After watching Gumiho's TvZ in his series vs DRG, I'd say the only sure bet in this thing is Zenio is going to die horribly. That said, I think TL has a good shot at this. It all really hinges on Ret vs. Lucky.
Are these games casted from replays or live?
no leenock
Let's make some noise!!! Let's go Liquid! 3-2!

and that was pretty funny to say

The look on Khaldor's face combined with the stream of absolute nonsense coming out of Gretorp's mouth is making this quite the cast.

oGs terrans been slumping. They are good but they haven't done much lately.

so far, hellion expo from gumiho, elevatored 4 hellions and some marines into zenio's main, but that was shut down. 3rd and delayed mutas and 4th from zenio, 3rd from gumiho.
zenio drives a push back with banes.
Gumiho has been supply blocked for so, so long and still hasn't noticed
Gumiho was only supply blocked for like 3 minutes and floating 1400 minerals....
zenio playing so well liquid playing so well im so fucking happy =)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Liquid beasting! awww yeaaah
brutal engagements by zenio
4 oranges/red upgrades on the way for zenio =D
gumiho tries to push as he takes a 4th, zenio maxed and taking a 5th, push get's demolished by ling/bane/muta most of the mutas survive, reinforcements cleaned up too, zenio looks in control of this.
silly Zenio, didn't anyone tell you planetaries are invincible?
gumiho is pretty good tho korean terrans.
gumiho delaying well with drops, but losing scvs to ling runbys
broods coming up for zenio, but supplies much more level.
terran is a pretty good race
pew pew pew pew

Zenio is just throwing this game away, nothing to do with ghosts.

Just tuned in, great to hear that Ret won.
Holy crap... I wont talk about balance, but wow that stuff died REALLY quickly.

While all the terrans on TL weep and moan, gumiho does the simple thing. Build more ghosts.
Zenio threw this game away, unfortunately.
Yeah mass ghosts... MMA style harassment working wonders for GuMiho
Zenio really threw the game away when he sacked his entire army trying to kill that planetary :/
This must be pre-patch, ghosts don't 1shot banelings any more
i don't understand why he didn't build blords before. he had greater spire much before gumiho had ghosts.

Um, no it wasn', and he engaged at an awful angle, plus he had no AoE whatsoever, so I don't see how he was going to beat the 80 marines in the army. They were what destroyed him, not the ghosts.

What a weird game, Zenio's decision making always looks somewhat indecisive, not only in this game. Always moving back and forth and then deciding for ultras two times?

Well, good try by Zenio. At least we can officially say that a game where Ghosts can snipe an entire Zerg army is a thing a past now due to the patch!

Blizz did to much with the nerf, but ghosts are kind of where they should be a support unit sniper for extra dps not just lol snipe and everything dies.

Which makes it not that efficient as that would be 80 supply of just ghosts. Wouldn't recommend it

I can't understand Zenio... I was already celebrating the win, when he was 70 supply ahead, in anticipation of the ling/baneling/muta overrun and then... He decided to tech to Ultras and to let gumiho back in the game. When you are THAT ahead in a game I think the best thing is to stay on Lair tech... As Day9 says "JUST GO AND F*** KILL HIM!!!"

the only way fast blink works on this map is if your opponent doesn't go for a balls 4gate and opens something like 3SR into 4gate, but even then the timing isn't off by much

Sheth so good!

This has been popular lately for kr tosses, go stargate and not go colossi immediately and die to roach/hydra xD. Not sure why but I have noticed this lately is tosses are forgetting or not making colossi/templar and going pure gateway for awhile and dying to these roach/hydra attacks when taking a faster third. Wonder when they are going to start getting colossi again or templar at least so they dont' die to roach/hydra xD
Well played by sheth and so glad liquid won congratulations guys

Not sure why but I have noticed this lately is tosses are forgetting or not making colossi/templar and going pure gateway for awhile and dying to these roach/hydra attacks when taking a faster third. Wonder when they are going to start getting colossi again or templar at least so they dont' die to roach/hydra xD I guess it counters the more popular zerg response of skipping hydras and directly going corruptors to counter colossi, doesn't it?
I sometimes feel like to a certain extent ZvP comes down to which tech route players choose independently from each other. How can Sheth have been sure Choya didn't go for robo?
Wp though and gratz to TL.

Man Ret and Sheth have been unstoppable lately.

Ret & Sheth are the best EU & NA zergs in my opinion.

Sheth is on an absolute tear! Holy crap!
Ret and HerO looking solid to poor Zenio had to against Gumiho - not a bad result for him i guess

GJ TL! Ret and Sheth are totally beasting it recently. Not many teams (especially non-koren ones) can beat TL easily

They were slumping for a bit, but they've really pulled it together. Would love to see them duke it out with Empire or Mouz (and funny enough they're facing each other right now) Beaten Empire and Mouz already. And I don't think Liquid was ever out of a top 2 foreigner team results-wise, and there's basically no contest for top 1 right now. The match against empire was close and empire didn't play one of their best players; I think it's closer than you think it is, especially since in teamleagues empire gets a small benefit of the doubt(in the last round of teamleagues empire did better than liquid)

They're through anyway, why would he not play, maybe the other players didn't even want to. Yes, he's 1-3 now, but so far they always won the matches he played in anyway.

They play rock, paper, scissors to decide who gets to play, he's pretty good at that.

actually they didn't win anything yet and chances are not too good that they win one of them
korean teams in ipl tac2 and in NASTL there are still empire mouz and FXO again taht they have to beat and if FXO sends out their real lineup with leenock and oz they will most likely smash liquid

2012 year of liquid, TLO is so right.
