I remember in the blizzard cup DRG was down 0-3 to MMA, brought it back to 3-3 and barely lost in game 7 so anything is possible.

And that game 7 was i think the best TvZ to this moment, yes, better than Sc vs Nestea

It kind of was like MMA's playstyle with the massive ammount of drops and using really good siege places.

In fact, it was better than MMA's playstyle, with better positioning, better decision making.

His marine split + tank control isn't as good as MMA's though, but there wasn't really a real/huge fight with banelings in that game.

yeah he can just force his opponent to somehow not go banelings. works every time O_O???????

A true Genius fan would know that Genius rolled DRG in the ro32 and would do it again

A true Genius fan would have watched the round of 16 group selection where Genius was laughing saying that he gets crushed every single time by DRG in practice.

but in every interview everyone has a 10% win rate or lower in practice

DRG was there. He seemed to agree.

I don't get why people say this, his style doesn't look refined but he eliminated MVP and maybe DRG, how is he in any way mediocre? He beat one of if not the best TvT and ZvT players on the way to the finals. And if he wins vs Genius he might aswell have beaten the best PvT player.

Because people on TL hate Terrans in the GSL that's why.

Especially when they beat the more popular players of the other races.

Is this a joke.

Do you have eyes, and maybe a brain behind those eyes? Did you watch Gumiho's last series vs Puzzle, or the games tonight?

Gumiho is anything but a boring Terran.

Did you just call Gumiho boring? this guy is one of the fastest and most entertaining players around always drops he is everywhere. No a move armies here!

Gumiho is amazing, but hard to watch on the stream. I feel like i need a full screen minimap just to see what is going on.

Well looks like the Protoss players are the only ones that can form a proper opinion on this game.

Gumiho defended that first attack the best he could, he then disrupted DRG pretty well with multiple drops at the same time and a nice hidden defended base. DRG on the other hand had a killer first attack but failed to save some banes for the 2nd wallin (his big mistake imo). DRG then didnt really pressure again, he let Gumiho pick him apart slowly.

well, you forgot to mention that Gumiho failed a bunker push in the beginning...

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Gumiho is my favourite terran in the world to watch.

ugh.. TVP finals incoming. I don't think Gumiho is much better than alive.. should be a disgusting series, and not in a good way.

Did you see Gumiho vs Puzzle?

Gumiho has an amazing TvP. Alive's TvP was completely lackluster.

Yep. GuMiho vs Genius could actually be interesting, with GuMiho attempting to pull off crazy tactics (banshee-tank on Metropolis?) and trying to do multi-prong attacks while Genius attempts to defend it, but with better defense than most Protoss (patrolling Zealots etc.).

What I'm wondering now is, is GuMiho better than MMA?

He's good but MMA is still the best terran in the world. Maybe someday!

what an insane comeback , simply a mind blowing game

Comeback? Gumiho was never behind, he defended the bust really well.

It wasn't nearly as impressive as Tastosis was raving about. It's the magic of the insanely low roach DPS versus SCV repair and siege tank splash damage this he *miraculously* held that.

Zerg can make that work if, and pretty much only if, Terran screws up. Just as in game 1 he needed GuMiho to make a mistake in order to win. No major mistake, so Terran wins.

Game 1 DRG did plenty of mistakes though.

its interesting.... idk i would still pick genius > drg due to mind games. genius wins all mind games.

This is why zerg needs a unit like lurkers. Defending drops without building circles of a spines around your hatch is just rediculous.

Personal choice for DRG. It's hard to transition into Mutaling after a failed/non-killing Roachling attack.

Lolwut? Gumiho boring?!

I like DRG but the way Gumiho is playing, if he wins this then the finals will be anything but boring.

Still hoping DRG can turn this around a bit though, don't want this series to finish so quick :-/
