I remember in the blizzard cup DRG was down 0-3 to MMA, brought it back to 3-3 and barely lost in game 7 so anything is possible.

It kind of was like MMA's playstyle with the massive ammount of drops and using really good siege places.

looks like another boring terran player will ruin a perfect scenario gsl finals... sigh =(

Well looks like the Protoss players are the only ones that can form a proper opinion on this game.
Gumiho defended that first attack the best he could, he then disrupted DRG pretty well with multiple drops at the same time and a nice hidden defended base. DRG on the other hand had a killer first attack but failed to save some banes for the 2nd wallin (his big mistake imo). DRG then didnt really pressure again, he let Gumiho pick him apart slowly.

Those tanks are placed perfectly and if he runs in there his units are trapped. Only thing he could have done was place an overlord near the cliff and lob infested terrans up next to the tanks, but the infestors would just get destroyed by the siege tanks beforehand. So annoying that they kept going on and on about that. Burrow? He only had 3 tanks clustered together in a corner so sending a ultra and some roaches would have been enough

Do I really need an argument to tell you how wrong you are? I said "almost unbeatable". There are plenty of things that give you an almost unbeatable lead in this game.

I am gonna be so sad if DRG doesn't just go beast mode soon here

i think u will need Genius to start trolling DRG in order to motivate him to be in the finals

The hold against the Roach/Baneling bust was so sick, what the fuck, I still can't believe that happened.

This is very hard to pull off though. Yes, this is exactly what's going on. This is how you play TvX. The T army is weaker in a straight up fight, but in a good position + splitting the opponent's army inefficiently, comes out ahead.
yeah small clumps of rine/rauder/medivac are so strong against small clumps of toss/zerg. But they suck so bad in one big clump vs big clump toss/zerg.

==;; Well when you choose to go for a bust, I'm sure you're behind if it fails.

Yep. GuMiho vs Genius could actually be interesting, with GuMiho attempting to pull off crazy tactics (banshee-tank on Metropolis?) and trying to do multi-prong attacks while Genius attempts to defend it, but with better defense than most Protoss (patrolling Zealots etc.).
What I'm wondering now is, is GuMiho better than MMA?

In fact, it was better than MMA's playstyle, with better positioning, better decision making.

Yeah, he sure is demonstrating such mediocre play. Nothing like that perfect sit back and deathball play that we see from protoss.

He should just ask marineking for tips. Marineking technically finished 3-2 vs Genius so apparently he's the only one figuring it out. (GO MECH) jk

The worst two games I've seen in a long time from DRG, don't know if GumiHo's style irritates him that much.

Gumiho bonjwa best terran in the world.

I don't get why people say this, his style doesn't look refined but he eliminated MVP and maybe DRG, how is he in any way mediocre? He beat one of if not the best TvT and ZvT players on the way to the finals. And if he wins vs Genius he might aswell have beaten the best PvT player.
