I won't even watch Gumiho vs Genius. Just gonna check the results.

In fact, it was better than MMA's playstyle, with better positioning, better decision making. His marine split + tank control isn't as good as MMA's though, but there wasn't really a real/huge fight with banelings in that game. yeah he can just force his opponent to somehow not go banelings. works every time O_O??????? maybe its the maraudars that make some zergs forgo banes

"Multiply by .38 and then add that to the original number..." Or, multiply by 1.38? :-p Still, point taking -- it's a ridiculous conversion and no way to do it properly on stream, just thought it was cute listening to him try to math it out off the top of his head :-)

Come on DRG, fighting!!!!!!!!

Gumiho defended that first attack the best he could, he then disrupted DRG pretty well with multiple drops at the same time and a nice hidden defended base. DRG on the other hand had a killer first attack but failed to save some banes for the 2nd wallin (his big mistake imo). DRG then didnt really pressure again, he let Gumiho pick him apart slowly. well, you forgot to mention that Gumiho failed a bunker push in the beginning... How is forcing a spine, forcing a ton of lings, killing a drone and forcing a bunch of lost mining time a failed bunker push?
It's failed as in it should have killed Zerg. If you watch the KR pro's streams a 2-rax on that map in TvZ pretty much always finishes the game immediately. That's why DRG was taking it so seriously.

I actually see DRG making a possible comeback considering his win-rate on these maps compared to the first two. DRG is a clutch player too (w/e that means). :D

He beat one of if not the best TvT and ZvT players on the way to the finals. And if he wins vs Genius he might aswell have beaten the best PvT player. Gumiho sucks, the end, just a lucky gsl run like Jjakji
The guy 4-1 MVP and beat Puzzle

TVP finals incoming. I don't think Gumiho is much better than alive.. should be a disgusting series, and not in a good way. Did you see Gumiho vs Puzzle? Gumiho has an amazing TvP. Alive's TvP was completely lackluster. Yep. GuMiho vs Genius could actually be interesting, with GuMiho attempting to pull off crazy tactics (banshee-tank on Metropolis?) and trying to do multi-prong attacks while Genius attempts to defend it, but with better defense than most Protoss (patrolling Zealots etc.). What I'm wondering now is, is GuMiho better than MMA? He's good but MMA is still the best terran in the world. Maybe someday! Honestly, I don't understand all the love that MMA gets. He just doesn't show consistent play and solid builds/decisions.
Non-consistent build/decisions?!? He's won so many matches, just from mindgaming his opponents and crushing their greed with cheese, or punish their fear with his own greedy (e.g triple CC).

But MMA is fun to watch. He's the comeback king after all. Even when his opponent are 20 supply ahead, he can somehow claw his way back into the game. Plus he looks less like a computer nerd.

People don't know how to think with their brains and not hype.
Use your eyes + brain on the games you've seen. Gumiho has played way better in all series this season than MMA.
