they are certainly favored, but don't underestimate RoxKis each of 3 first can take the game, and LiveZerg should take the 4th

gretorp looks like he could use a hot6

damn, missed nani's game, the post-game analysis made him sound solid
|
He was solid, but really Titan shot both his feet off with a shotgun and handed Nani the game.
|
Gretorp needs to learn what seven to one odds are.
seven to one odds means you put down one dollar and win 7 dollars
what he means is one to seven odds

wtf happened to theognis v lz?

Im paying to watch a guy skype in on a webcam co-cast? Sorry no offense but where is my money going for production?
Canceled.
|
I quite like the contrast by the way: Gretorp in the front smooth at 1080p and then in the background on a way too large screen (for that resolution) the background caster on an extremely stuttering webcam. In my opinion if it is done that way you might as well not show the co-caster's webcam; a high resolution picture would be a lot less distracting in that case.

You're not paying for anything... all of this content is free...

You do know that NASTL is free right? Go back under your bridge...

Ive supported for two seasons, this is just the dogs breakfast at this point. They know they are being canceled and are just slurping up cash. Sorry I supported this organization.

why Quantic didnt send NaNi as their ace player? wp RoX.KiS

Nice play from fraer. You really have to look out for that guy. He recently took the Zotac monthly final with wins over Sleep and Revival. The whole RoxKis roster seemed to rise from nowhere in the last 1-2 months.

I have paid and the content is still bad. So I check out the free stuff, and its skype call in?
Naw mate, this isn't worth supporting.

There's not even a subscription button during this off season...

To provide dissent, the quality of NASL has gone up leaps and bounds since the first season. Skyping in different casters is perfectly fine if it ensures variety and NASL has done a great job using different interesting casters. Haters gonna hate.

You apparently didn't pay for high quality finals did you.

Why are you so upset Synwave? You make it sound like tuning in to NASL today caused you brain cancer, killed your cat, and raped your daughter.

I simply explained why I would no longer support this organization after two seasons. I felt last season was a waste of my money and I tuned into the free stuff to see what it was all about. Its skype casting. I posted my opinion on that and that I consider it a sad attempt to slurp up cash in the coming season because they know they aren't going to last long. You don't have to agree, but yo, its my opinion. They went from starter organization season 1, to joke organization season 2 with a finale of hilarity and are starting season 3 freebie with my bros on skype! Not worth supporting imo. Considering the tune in numbers I would say Im not the only one that came to this decision although I suppose I took a bit to come to it as most just didn't even bother watching the free stuff and commenting on it.

Quantic really couldn't afford to lose this. theOgnis had a good shot at beating LiveZerg. We could give theo a hard time about this, but if he just forgot or something, I'm sure he feels like shit already.
|
You should take a look at your by-line..
Had you seen more than 5 minutes of the team league, you would know that the NASL-qualifier shown earlier today had QXC in the studio casting, if that is very important to you. Does everything that doesn't have the casters sitting together in a studio really suck? I think you have strange priorities.

All he said was that hes disappointed and canceling his subscription. Youre the one being ridiculously hyperbolic, not him.

Is Quantic officially out of contention?
|
To explain the Theognis forfeit:
The match was supposed to be played Tuesday morning, but was not due to bnet being down. The rest of the matches were to be played Wednesday morning. Quantic and RoX's manager agreed to play Theognis' game at the same time as the others since there were bnet problems the previous morning, which RoX agreed to. Theognis didn't show up at that time. We waited an hour for him to come before going to the ace match.
|
Shocked Fraer beat SaSe. His first win in the NASTL I believe.

Yeah I don't think they can make the playoffs, their 0-5 right now even if they won their next two games they couldn't get in.

Yep.
Only the top 4 teams make it to the playoff. Empire, FXO are at 4 wins while TL is on 3 wins. Both mouz and ReIGN have 2 wins, but they will be versusing each other in week 6, so one will end up with at least 3 wins.
All this considered, Quantic only has two games left and at best, can end up 2-5 which will be 5th or lower.
@Xeris; What happened to ReIGN and NASTL? Have their games already been played or are the rest being awarded walk-overs?

Bad move sending Sase up as the Ace, especially when he'd just lost his game and was probably on tilt.

Wow, that's an incredible result. I love Abver, he's one of the best and most underrated zergs in EU, but I never would've had him winning there. Huge unforced error by theognis and then PvP with fraer, another dynamite player that nobody knows. GG for RoX. so impressive lately.
|
Fraer lost his first set? wow wtf, he's not losing to anyone lately, esp terrans it has to be 3-1 nice by Abver tho

I'll chalk it down to KR-EU lag; I think these were played on EU.

Meh. We agreed on Wednesday morning and yea bnet was acting kooky so that wasn't happening. So we agreed to 8PM CET (2pm EST) that day since it was both convenient for us. He didn't show up at that time. Sucks because we agreed on the time on bnet( when bnet wasn't allowing us to create games at 7am for some reason)and not skype, so I can't confirm this with chat logs. I wasn't able to show up the following day on which the rest of the games were to be played. Just super unlucky with being able to schedule times . Sucks. Sorry.
