Got to ask Protoss players this (and last game may not be a great example as I'm unsure if Parting kept his Forge alive)... Why do Protoss players in PvZ NOT upgrade shields? I understand why they don't bother with it in PvT due to EMP and chargelots being great late game but lategame PvZ you'll be using a bunch of units with AT LEAST equal shield to armor or in the case of Archons 300S to 10A. Fungal may ignore upgrades but it's nowhere near as potent as EMP. On top of that armor is a one time thing, once you take damage on that it's permanent and it only gives a boost to ground units, shield gives you a boost to ground units, buildings and air. I'm not saying it would have changed that game, after the missed forcefields it was a won game for DRG but I'm trying to think of the last PvZ I watched where the Protoss player ever bothered to get Shield Upgrades (Please link me examples / tell me if I'm talking utter rubbish, as a T player I don't watch that much P play or may not understand it that well). Surely blink stalkers with shield upgrades that are well microed are just godly? | ||
