Well done Seeker, really thought that through!

Oh and go Puzzle. aLive is actually 7-3 in his last TvT's compared to MMA's 8-2 MMA's 2 losses were 1 game to Polt and 1 game to MvP (Both in Blizzard Cup) aLive's 3 losses were 1 game to Jinro and 2 games to MarineKing. Don't distort TLPD facts, it makes you look silly. I hate to be that guy, but MMA's loss to MVP came from the October GSL finals (4-1), as he swept MVP 3-0 in the Blizzcup semis. Technically MVP 4-2'd MMA between the October GSL and Blizzcup if we want to count back =p

So hyped, these games are going to be great.
This is the part where I predict the matches for today, but fuck that shit. i can do better. I'll predict the entire rest of the season.

MMA and Puzzle are the clear favorites. I think it will go 3-1 MMA and 3-0 Puzzle.

Yes, I agree that comparing the two TLPD usually is silly, because you factor in matches where top Koreans take out relatively weaker foreigners. But in some rare cases, such as when a player plays in a tournament such as the FXO invitational, an international tournament that is nevertheless 90% or more Korean, International TLPD becomes valid.
In the end it all comes down to the strength of competition.

Ah yes, the MLG Global Invite. I remember MVP had an incredible run, coming back from a 0-3 deficit to beat Bomber in a Bo7, then going on to beat MMA.

How can anyone possibly think alive is so great all of a sudden? He's not bad don't get me wrong... but better than MMA? Lol... Another completely overrated person.. I think he'll win one game max.

MMA's TvT is pretty cheesy, if Alive plays solid mech style and doesn't make too many mistakes he should be fine.

It's funny I remember everyone predicting 4-0 MVP at GSL Oct even tho MMA beat MVP twice at the Geforce online tourney. They said online results mean jack. Why aren't they singing the same tune now? haha

aLive has been playing very well recently, winning the ESV Weekly 4-1 over Taeja and winning the IPL 4 online qualifier. He is still the underdog, but definitely strong enough to beat MMA. That being said, I still think and hope that MMA wins.

Can't seriously believe people are still doubting aLive, Polt syndrome to the max >.>

Because people have short memory and only go by recent results. If Alive has beaten 3 terrans since last week but MMA hasn't played any, Alive becomes a favorite to them for whatever reason.

I'm fine with that too. Because when a protoss wins, we all win
I just wish parting did not draw DRG as his ro8 it would be pretty sick for him to royal road his first Code S. Could still happen though!

MVP going into the October finals appeared unstoppable. This was before we realized that MMA could be the guy who could stop him. Having just won GSL August convincingly (beating MC, Polt, Nestea, Huk, July and finally TOP and dropping only 2 games) and having returned to the finals for October (Nestea being the only player he faced who gave him trouble), everyone expected MVP to win his 4th title.
Many people at that time were playing with the term "bonjwa" for MVP. It just seemed hugely improbable that a Terran player, especially a bio player like MMA, could possibly beat MVP in a Bo7. There were people who looked at the head to head reults and realized that MMA had a very good record against MVP, but MVP was winning tournaments left and right.
Edit: Damn, deraiiled the thread. My apologies.

MMA is the king of beating mech players in TvT though

if alive wins first game he probably wins. if not lost.
gumiho needs to catch puzzle's mistakes.

3-1 MMA 3-2 Gumiho
Here's hoping!
