If the numerous instances of red text in this thread weren't clear enough, it's time to simmer down, and think before you post. |
lol this thread is hilarious. So many TL fanboys hating on EG for no reason so what incontrol took some time off at the end of the year. didnt most pro gamers take time off when it came to the end of the season? for weeks the only thing you say Nony playing was skyrim, and no one hated on him.
This is free, additional content that EG have produced, and all people can do is bitch seriously, how can people have the nerve to complain about BW/Lol/HoN/Dota or w/e being a better/bigger community or game when this is the way the SC2 community acts?
wtf o_0

Orb is such an excellent choice for a caster. He is one of the few analytical casters that doesn't sacrifice for the knowledge that he has. One of the best out there right now. Good choice.
|
man.. every EG thread is always the same boring shit..
They do stuff for free for their fans and boom the haters are always there pissing on everybody from EG.. always the same guys with the same arguments..
If you hate them so much, think they don't deserve the hype, the success and the money why do you keep following them?
Just let them be...
I watched the broadcast and loved it, watched the huk vs idra and a bit of inc vs machine because it was getting late.. nice job I really liked it. Orb is a nice caster.

What i don't get about this:
Inc and Machine live in the NA-Gaminghouse, right? Huk and Idra live in the Slayers-House, right?
What is so hard about having them play against each other that justifies delays of 2 months.. Or 2-3 Weeks? I imagine they play against each other quite often anyway and even if not, it should be very easy to have them play against each other?

Why is it so hard to have them play against each other that it justifies delays of 2 months.. Or 2-3 Weeks, doesn't even matter. I imagine they play against each other quite often anyway and even if not, it should be very easy to have them play against each other?
The funny thing is that IdrA and HuKs game was definitely played on KR since they were using their KR accounts (Cale and LiquidHuK) so theres no real reason these games had to be so old. Its not like it was the last chance all 4 of them were on one server.

No, HuK lives in the oGs house, and has been doing that for some time.

Ok, but still.. Both are in Korea.. How is it hard to set up a game between them and cast it?

Really? Both are in Korea? And Idra just magically attends IEM through teleportation? Check your facts before you post.

Frankly it's starting to get incredibly frustrating reading and hearing incontrol constantly remind us how much he gives to the community and how he only gets hate in return. It sucks that it's getting this way because he's actually a smart, funny guy; but the fact remains the community supports his lifestyle 100%. There are guys out there who are more talented and grinding way harder that are getting no fan fare whatsoever and sure as shit no bank because they're not "chosen" by the community. This goes for players/casters/organizers/whatever else. It's really hard to watch this unfold and I hope incontrol is careful with these rants because if he starts to lose his fanbase its lights out for him. It's not like he's idra or HuK and if he pisses off the community he can just go win an MLG and smooth it all out. As far as the 3 month delay goes: that seems... ridiculous. I mean I know there are tournaments to prepare for but I find it shocking that you couldn't rip an hour out of your schedule to play a few games against a team mate (Which as we know from streams happens all the time anyway). You could make the case that EG just wanted to hand pick some practise games to make sure the sets were exciting and based on quality/community reaction I'm pretty confident that's not the case either. Feels like they're feeding us day old donuts the week after an epic MLG and GSL code S finals. Some seriously odd timing but I really give no shits about this whole thing so in the grand scheme producing something SHOULD be better than not putting out anything... I guess.
Agree. Some way Incontrol thinks that he is one of the only ones who is fully devoted to sc2. What a bunch of BS. There are a lot of players out there who watches alot of stuff, plays a shitton of games, and wouldn't dare to take a twomonth break ever. They may not be the absolute best (like top 10 foreigners), but they are still better than Incontrol, and a lot of them probably dream of becomming a progamer.
The only reason Incontrol is a progamer today is because of his personality. I dont have any problem with this, however I have a problem with him justifying playing bad because of a break, that a lot of other players wouldn't take, and then justiying the break by saing he is much more involved in sc2. The fact is that can take these breaks, play shit, practice less, use time on forums on (pointless) topics, because it doesn't matter how good/bad he is. He gets paid because of his personality, not because of his skill.

Just leave the guy alone. He's not the best, he doesn't have the highest amount of APM but he is still better than everyone in this thread and will get a better waifu than most of us (if we ever get one lol). I used to write a lot of mean things to incontrol through twitter/4chan/reddit and I won't say I regret EVERYTHING but it is going a little to far. I don't like a lot of aspects of Incontrol's personality but at least he tries the hardest in everything he does. Just watch the last episode of SotG and you'll see that without him this "show" would be a joke. I also watched him commenting hero's play live on his stream and it was quite awesome. I feel like the Starcraft community would miss a lot without him.
So cheer up Incontrol.

LOL yea.... idra walked to IEM, it took 3 months thats why they played them so long ago. So yes they both have been in korea for months together.

That's correct. These were played right before the Winter Arena, Idra flew back to Korea, grabbed his things, and flew to Germany. He did not play any games in Korea (on his Korean account at least) after flying to NY. So there really wasn't a period in between to play these games.

Incontrol wants all the benefits of being a public figure but none of the responsibility. You expose yourself to the public expect to be judged.
