Yes and it's a painful travesty. =(

Where are the spoilers/results? Who won between IdrA and HuK?

You don't seem to understand why people are so upset. You are in a position of absolute privilege. There are so many people who wish they could be in your position in your profession. There are not many people in this world who have the work ethic to put in the time required to make it as a progamer, but they do exist. Whether or not it was two months or not is irrelevant at this point. When you say "well sorry, we just got back from our 2 month holiday", it comes across that you just take what you have for granted. It looks like you don't really give a shit. You've made it as a progamer, so who cares, right? There are people who play this game in every inch of their spare time, trying to make it as a pro while supporting themselves or whatever. So if you're really shocked about the response to your initial post, it really shouldn't boggle you like it did. If two months off was so terrible, the people that played non-stop would be able to beat them and your point would be validated. But they don't! So it isn't! But they do, so it is.

Bleh, I don't remember the last time an EG player won a major tournament, if they have it must not have been recent...someone please please correct me if I am wrong.

Well koreans have been winning every tournament so you can't say much else for the other foreign teams either.

Huk's top 3 @ MLG winter arena is a recent, high placement. Not a win, but he placed higher than several krns.

Ummm NASL season 2. Puma beat Hero a week after Hero beat Puma at DH winter. And not long before that Huk won MLG Orlando.
You guys do know there was a huge lull in tournaments right?

Considering 1st place is MKP and 2nd place is DRG + Show Spoiler +... yeah 3rd place is amazing.

Dammit, I bet on Machine. MY COINS.

I love it when people come here to troll one of the nicest and most open to meeting fans/doing things for them players in the game. Grow up -_-

Well Teamliquid and SC community, what did we learn?
We learned that better communication is needed from the event organizer and for both parties to take a step back and relax and realize it was just a fun showmatch before angrily typing. So next time in the future everyone can just enjoy their Sunday night without rage :D

What a horrible post. You think Incontrol's private life is more public than Tom Brady or Kobe Bryant (or any pro athlete worth noting)? EL OH EL. Give your head a long, firm shake.
Frankly it's starting to get incredibly frustrating reading and hearing incontrol constantly remind us how much he gives to the community and how he only gets hate in return. It sucks that it's getting this way because he's actually a smart, funny guy; but the fact remains the community supports his lifestyle 100%. There are guys out there who are more talented and grinding way harder that are getting no fan fare whatsoever and sure as shit no bank because they're not "chosen" by the community. This goes for players/casters/organizers/whatever else. It's really hard to watch this unfold and I hope incontrol is careful with these rants because if he starts to lose his fanbase its lights out for him. It's not like he's idra or HuK and if he pisses off the community he can just go win an MLG and smooth it all out.
As far as the 3 month delay goes: that seems... ridiculous. I mean I know there are tournaments to prepare for but I find it shocking that you couldn't rip an hour out of your schedule to play a few games against a team mate (Which as we know from streams happens all the time anyway). You could make the case that EG just wanted to hand pick some practise games to make sure the sets were exciting and based on quality/community reaction I'm pretty confident that's not the case either. Feels like they're feeding us day old donuts the week after an epic MLG and GSL code S finals. Some seriously odd timing but I really give no shits about this whole thing so in the grand scheme producing something SHOULD be better than not putting out anything... I guess.

Of course not. That said, they're not immune to seeing him lash out and get warned on TL. I mean a lot of people will understand what he's going through but if 1/100 fans don't like when he does this kinda stuff that viewership will slowly start to dwindle.

so...at the end of the day incontrol is the most evil genius? taking breaks and stuff (lol)

The delay was at most 8 weeks and most were played 2-3 weeks ago. The 3month old delay was a misunderstanding and is inaccurate.

6 weeks for Inc/Machine, 2.5 weeks for IdrA/HuK.
