And unfortunately for Geoff and the other EG members, since they're one of the few NA professional teams they attract all sorts of attention, good and bad. And because of this people will often forget that behind the player is a person who has other hobbies, relationships, and activities outside of their job and many people just can't accept that. But anyways I'm sure EG members will never see this message but I just hope they know that for every whiner and hater there are 10 loyal fans behind them (me being one of them) that appreciate their work and content they continually release.

The only thing I change is Geoff coming into the LR thread brewing up drama, making excuses, name calling fans and playing the victim when he is in such a privileged position. Until he is able to to start producing some wins, and not piggy backing off of his team mates, I think Geoff should be a bit less vocal about his incredible dedication and hard work until he has some results to match the talk. I really do hope one day Geoffs actions will speak louder than his words, but I am very skeptical of that prospect ever becoming a reality.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Inc/Machine prove that they can take those two, but I don't see it happening ![]()

I think EG's strategy is brilliant, fake a tournament and have him win in "impressive" fashion so the casual fan thinks he has his "groove" back. Factor in the sponsor and advertisement revenue from the hype videos and the stream, the brand promotion and the creation of this Greg is back story and I think you have a very successful experiment. Glad to see that TeamLiquid remains as "mature" as advertised.

I didn't mean to say it as an absolute, but nevertheless, it doesn't change my point. If my logic is bad, I don't know what to call yours ![]() actually, it does. because my point is that there are many varying proffessions. this especially applies to relating progamers to other jobs. you never stated this in your post. "people who work full-time dont get that much time off in a year." on top of this, youre saying its ridiculous that he cant have over a month of time off, as if hes wasting his position and falling behind in skill. so please try asking some pros (like incontrol) on whether or not other progamers take that kind of time off...including koreans.... see what i am saying? -_o and thank you for not bringing up my other point. it further solidifies my judgement on your thought processing abilities~

I don't think anyone here is going to overvalue an IdrA win in an team-only tournament and you shouldn't be concerned with Geoff's actions. Do like me and enjoy the content.
