Super good point. If the games are bad, we're gonna laugh. I guess it's more hilarious when a player takes that personally, but you're absolutely right that we as fans are talking about what we should be talking about. You've made some of the stupidest/trollish posts in this thread. If you dont care about EG or their players just leave already. its ok dude. he's just exercising his right to be upset because its justified. Yeah I agree, Incontrol vs machine were low quality games. I couldn't tell that Incontrol took a few months off because he looked about the same as usual. I personally don't consider Incontrol as a top tier NA player so I dont know why people get so upset when he plays this poorly. i wouldn't consider anyone a fan if they get angry AT THE PLAYER they are supposedly a fan of when they lose/play poorly. just trolls. i take it you're new to this whole "sports" thing? oh, so its okay because they do it in real sports? Yes. Because this is how sports work. Being frustrated when the team you support plays like shit is not "trolling". so talking shit because youre frustrated = justified? thats called being immature. Oh noes, we're immature

3 months old games? Teh fuck? Well fuck that. The post made it out like they were live or at least somewhat new.. 3 months ... really?

Apparently it's too hard to record a series when they have both been in the house for a while already and streamed their practice sessions too.
The match was terrible. The game-play was terrible. That's about all you can expect from low level "pros".
No excuses. Stop making them and step your game up.

IdrA and HuK talked about the match against Alive which is relatively recent (I think 3 weeks?). Additionally, it seemed like HuK/IdrA hadn't played against anyone else from their chit-chat so I don't think all the games are this old.

I wonder how much time off, if any, players of the calibre of DRG and MMA took over the holidays. Because I'm pretty sure it wasn't 2 months. Then again they're actually professionals who take their job seriously, whereas Incontrol is a punchline. The thought that EG players get a larger salary than the majority of Code S players out there is nauseating.

People said the incontrol - machine game was really bad. Incontrol gave an explanation, and, without mincing words, an exceptionally ridiculous one, and he was called out on it.

IdrA and Huks games are definitely more recent then they are old. Don't want to spoil the games but if you watch the vods and their in-game chatter, its pretty obvious.
The incontrol and Machine games are apparently really old. Which IMO, is extremely surprising. They live together and they train together all the time, hard to believe that the only time slot for them to play the series was 3 months ago. Obviously there's a good chunk of information that we don't know as viewers (IE. why were they played so long ago? Why not play them more recent or even live?), but never the less, it reflects badly on EG or any organization for that matter when you put out content that is 3 months old.

The koreans gaming houses work because they have coaches to also help the stay on track, you get out of this game what you put into it, the koreans don't play warhammer or play other games with team members. I mean sure they cool down and relax like watching their shows as seen in trimasters video.
Some people just don't have it, no need to complain about it, you could tell from all his tourney performances that it was gonna be no diff. People jus get upset that he has optimal gaming conditions down to the point his soon to be wife lives with him and he's being paid to do it andstill can't progress, that's what angers people, they feel they should be seeing higher quality but should just learn to expect it. But understand inc point of view also. It can be frustrating that people who go to school full time or work full time and play are on another level.
What I'm trying to say is we need to just understand by now and take it for what it is, we know what were getting, I. Just came to accept it

Awesoem tourny, love the videos for it . Keep up the good work. I liked the idra games the best . Not so much of a fan of the incontrol machine games.

Is there anywhere I can find the results? I stopped watching after Machine and iNcontroL were 2:2.
Or if you know, who won between them? and did the winner have to face IdrA? (if so who won)

A lot of the replies in this thread hurt my head.

Idiotic comparison. Incontrol is no where near DRG or MMA's level and he never will be. You can literally compare any mid-tier player and a sc2 superstar and you would get the same effect.
EG players like IdrA or Huk get larger salaries because they give their teams more exposure and make more money for their teams. Makes perfect sense.

I dunno why people are surprised that the match wasn't particularly great when incontrol is on page 9 of the tlpd surrounded by such well known players as seala and russano and machine is somehow even lower (p 12/15)...
|
Lol games are three months old, and no fucks shall be given about this tournament. Is it really that hard to host a live tournament where 3 of the players live in the same house, and the caster also lives in that house.......

They aren't 3 months old, as has been said repeatedly.
