Yeah I agree, Incontrol vs machine were low quality games. I couldn't tell that Incontrol took a few months off because he looked about the same as usual. I personally don't consider Incontrol as a top tier NA player so I dont know why people get so upset when he plays this poorly.

Ok, listen, I think both incontrol and machine played poorly. I think they are both better than what they showed today, and I am a bit upset they are not improving as much as I want them to. I also think having your teammates talk to you while you are playing in practice is starting to become a bad habit for the EG players. And lastly, I think its silly to have these games casted from replays 2 months old, especially since geoff himself criticized a tournament for lacking in aspects a few days ago.
But if you think the things being said to incontrol after he posted for the first time in this thread fall under the category of criticism, and do not go into the field of straight up bad manner, you are either a liar or a troll yourself. There should be no doubt that incontrol gets more love than what his skill warrants, but there should also be no doubt that he gets a ton more hate than he deserves.

this is my point, the thread was entirely on a professional level up until incontrol's post. if you think a player's game is trash, you can sure as shit call them on it. that's what this board is here for. it was him who opened the floodgates by demanding that people curb their ire because of personal reasons which he brought to the table, inevitably derailing the thread - bringing said factors under the microscope for scrutiny.
if you play bad and people call you on it, take it on the chin. prove them wrong next time. don't abuse your position of priviledge on this board and don't start making personal excuses if you don't want people to call said excuses into question.
