Ideally there will be 7 hours offset to each other due to time-zones. But since neither schedules are set by the hour it is hard to judge at this point how much real overlap there will be. Also grand finals will be on different days (ROG 25th, MLG 26th) which will allow for viewers to catch the peak of each tournament live.

eu viwers will still be screwed having to be up late sun night to watch mlg finals...
For anyone attending the event.. Is there interest to have an "after hours" mlg viewing area? (fri/sat night)
This tournament is looking SWEET! Kaelaris: can't wait to read your final preview

I think sunday would be fine for eu/kr based tournaments (i actually wish ASUSROG was going to be fri-sun, but they've done a great job with their past tournaments and I'm more than excited to attend this!!)

The only player in this tournament that can beat Lucky is Stephano imo. Polt is good but seems to struggle against zerg at times. JYP and Hero are good against zergs but Lucky is really good against Toss. I think either stephano or Lucky will take this tournament

the true Star player in that list is definetly Spirit_Moon aka God of Warcraft.
Lets see what he will bring up to the table. I will say 6 months from here, he gonna be one of the dominant forces in Code S.

Although technically IdrA won the last ASUS ROG tournament and Ret's win was Assembly (pre ASUS ROG sponsorship) none of the defending players will be there... I understand why IdrA and Ret are absent, but Dimaga? ):
Not to say that the player list isn't very impressive. 10 Koreans! + Show Spoiler +counting select and assuming the ESV GP winner will be Korean As well as some of the best EU players!

Whoa there Lucky is one of my favorite players but it's way too early to be talking about him in such a manner. For one thing we don't know enough about his ZvZ prowess to say he's safe against the rest of the zergs. His ZvT is just okay from what I've seen despite his 5-2 record against MMA. ZvP is definitely Lucky's forte but when DRG and Nestea say ZvP is hard right now, I tend to believe them.

No Snute for this, and no Snute for the MLG thing..?!

About DIMAGA: the list of players is confirmed invites, meaning that the player has been invited and he has accepted. I doubt that DIMAGA was not invited, more likely he just declined.

So why do some of these players still play at the MLG qualifiers? Like Lucky WhiteRa etc?

But I guess this means good news for Parting, I love Parting

I like seeing the two less-known protosses from Empire and Type getting invites. Also looking forward to seeing Seiplo play after his performance at Dreamhack as well as watching Bling in a big tournament after more practice in the Marseille-house. To not be a complete protoss-fanboy I also look forward to Stephano's games =P

Jinro, Polt, PuMa, and SeleCT all at the same tourney?
Wow, right there that's like 4 of my top 10 favorite terrans at the same tournament...
