They either denied the invitation and chose MLG or they declined it for other reasons. If a top player is not on the list it's not because they didn't invite him. eod.

Mark my words, Jinro will win. That's not a guess. That's a guaran-damn-tee.

Not a hope of anyone but Jinro winning.

so where is defending champion DIMAGA?

Although technically IdrA won the last ASUS ROG tournament and Ret's win was Assembly (pre ASUS ROG sponsorship) none of the defending players will be there... I understand why IdrA and Ret are absent, but Dimaga? ):

Not to say that the player list isn't very impressive. 10 Koreans! + Show Spoiler +
counting select and assuming the ESV GP winner will be Korean
As well as some of the best EU players!

Well Dimaga won, assembly like 64 man tournament it was very big,and Invitational was smaller and kinda other tournament with 8 people ( Not to take anything away from IdrA), so technically Dimaga is defending champion of assembly.

I was really interested to see how he will do after his run through IEM, I think probably he declined invitation, because it would be kinda .... strange? not to invite defending champion... ( Like not inviting puma to NASL S2)

Hope may be organizers can clarify?

The Assembly Summer was actually 32 player tournament, with a similiar format as the winter 2012 event we are going to enjoy later on this month. And yes, Dimaga is the defending champion, since the 8 player invitational was only a 'side tournament' if you will.

This organization has been faithful to the reigning champions in the past, so they have most definately invited Dimaga to attend in the event. For some reason he has probably declined the invite, which is a shame, would have been great to see dimaga in the event.

ya man probably he declined... My dream was to see Stephano vs Dimaga bo5 :D

I could actually see Kas winning this if he's playing like he was at IEM Kiev.

Kas is barely in the top 10 of players playing in this tournament.

I'm going with Puma to win. Lucky and Polt are better than he is but Puma has such an incredible record at foreign LAN's it's very hard to bet against him with none of the elite level of players in attendance.
