Where is this DRG ZvZ hype coming from?
His last televised ZvZ game in Korea ... was to Stephano. Which he lost. His last encounters in the foreign scene were against NeeL (2-1), Sen (2-1), LaLush (2-1), Leenock (3-4), and FD (3-2). That is not impressive. Sorry.
Meanwhile NesTea has still only dropped ZvZ games to three players ever in Korea (last being Leenock in a Bo1). Sure, he lost to HayprO at MLG (1-2), but he was playing far below his usual level and didn't have time to prepare, which is when he really shines. He will have had plenty of time to prepare here. And it's a Bo3, so no room for "random chance."
NesTea has a 90% win-rate in ZvZ with plenty of games played and he has only ever dropped ZvZs to six players in his history of televised games. DRG .... doesn't have that at all.

It's wise to bet on Protoss in this GSL. Genius/Nestea to advance.

Genius/DRG for me! Gonna be a sick night!
|
I'm also guessing Genius/Nestea, but honestly any single player could make it out easily.
Very, very good group - have to stay up for this one.

Thankyou for the common sense. Nestea and Genius advance, with Nestea being in second (So that mean he has to face MC right? )

mkp and genius. cmon....i wanna taste the zerg tears
|
i hope atleast 1 zerg gets into the ro8
|
Genius and MKP please! :D Well, DRG would be fine, too. Hmm, Nestea too. WTF? They are all so goooood! But Genius and MKP are my heart picks! Damn, this will be a great day!
|
Nestea + Marinekong for me. Genius and DRG will want to plot a plan but Nestea and MarineKing won't allow them. This will force them to team kill each other and reveal their true feelings about each other. I love it

I want nestea vs MC...so go nestea.
|
Drg and Genius go through. MKP will be 0-4.

have you checked the ladder recently? he's #1 with over a 100 points gap and 80% winrate. nestea is hanging around 10 but we can assume that he's not playing his best. dong rae gu and genius will have to do a miracle to get through.
|
Nestea < DRG MKP > Genius MKP > DRG Nestea < Genius DRG > Genius
I'd be happy to be wrong about Nestea. We'll see.
|
DRG and MKP to waltz through.

Ladder means how much in competition?
Oh right, nothing.

Really rooting for some zergs to get into the Ro8 so we can get some good matchups.
Interesting stats: Last time a GSL Ro8 didn't have at least 50% Terran was GSL July
Since GSL Started: Terran has made up more than 50% of Ro8 7 times (Open 1, Open 2, Super Tourney, GSL Jan, GSL Aug, GSL Oct, GSL Nov) Protoss has done it twice (WC, GSL March) Zerg has never done it.
Also, the Ro8 has never not had a Zerg
I play random and don't feel I have much bias, but because of the overwhelming Terran numbers I often find myself specifically rooting against Terran unless I really like that Terran. I really like MKP and in fact, all the players tonight though, so I guess I'll just root for good games!
