What is The Round Table Podcast and Showmatch series?
The Round Table is a new weekly podcast and showmatch series that will be hosted by Gretorp, Doa, and GoSuRuM. Each week we will be accompanied by two guest players, that will take part in an hour long podcast, followed by a BO 5 Showmatch. The Podcast will cover a range of topics in our scene, as well as a 15 minute segment of user questions. Immediately following the showmatch will take place.
When will this event take place?
2/1 at 9:00 PM PST. The event will be recurring every Wednesday night at 9:00 PM PST.

I like this idea. I think this will give players an opportunity to hear the process a player takes going into and out of a match series. I look forward to hearing their intended strategies are meta-wise and what the end result looks like when the series is done.

All of the above, the show will be going on each week, and will be going over different topics all the time. I already have some special players lined up for week 2 as well again. Remember, there is also a 15 minute time period for user questions. That gives you a chance to them anything you want!

I'm kind of suprised that more people aren't thinking catz will do well. Catz zvz is pretty good, and yes Dimaga is a great player as well, but Catz isn't bad.

When I first saw the title, I automatically assumed Bo31 and wondered who on Earth would watch at least 16 games of ZvZ.
Pretty cool to see. I think Dimaga has this, but it's always nice to see what Catz can pull out his hat of tricks.

Catz is being further cemented as an average-joe pro with every showmatch he plays it seems. Hopefully he can do a good job, but I predict 3-1 Dimaga.

Straight up, I think DIMAGA will win. But CatZ does some weird stuff, could catch him off guard.
I feel DIMAGA has really strong ZvZ, so I'm going to have to go with him. Just based on what I've seen (as in, top NA Zerg streams, Spanishiwa, IdrA, Destiny) CatZ seems to be in pretty bad shape vs zergs.

Actually it's the results the look like it's onesided but he always gives a good showing.
The lastest one vs Kiwikaki were mostly really close games.

DIMAGA should take this 3-0, even though it's played on NA (I assume?). But then again, if both just want to put a show it can go either way ^^ I think people should be thinking about a new name for series like this. It's just games for money, no show involved generally.

CatZ beat SaSe in ZvP.
I don't think many are denying that CatZ has improved tremendously, I agree too, but DIMAGA was consistently known as a great ZvZ player.
Early on in beta and release, he was taking games off of FruitDealer and NesTea, the top zergs at the time, and according to TLPD, he's about even with both Stephano and Nerchio, (actually 1 game up from Stephano) who were said by CatZ to be the two best foreign zergs.

Yeah, I think something more showmatch series like this one should have is both the players talking about the game afterwards. It gives some cool insight and discussion, even though it got disrupted a bit by Gretorp's awesome overlay skills.
