Via @IntelIEM I lost all the respect i had for that guy... what a whiny kid.
Yeah, how dare he request proper conditions to play his profession? Bring the torches!

This have nothing to do with BNET. Its the connection and/or computers so no its not like its raining.

Yes, but even then you don't just forfeit the tournament. You get all the qualified players together, since they all have to play in shit conditions, and talk to the tournament admins saying "look we can't play like this. It's better if you guys solve this issue because otherwise the games will be terrible. Can you do anything about this? Postpone the games or something like that?"

No it's not because you mention a deliberate act. You can not compare what happend right now with IEM, i serieusly doubt they do this on purpase just to piss players off.

good old naniwa. nothing changed.

quoting this, if it was anyone but naniwa people would be shitting on IEM for having a laggy tournament, stop letting hate/previous stupid actions blind you to what is happening (players been forced to play under laggy conditions which damages the integrity of the tournament).

TBH I wonder if Naniwa will just quit the game if this blows up as a big drama thing again. I heard he was close to after the nestea probe rush thing.

Never seen someone who trains so hard to win to autodestruct right after. Is there a tournament he hasn't dissed somehow?
He's a player.. If a tournament sucks dick then why should he have to put up with it. More people need to start doing this.

On January 19 2012 22:39 mTwTT1 wrote: lag or not its kinda disrespectul to ff a tournament that u got a free invite to Yes forgot that, that actually kinda changes the entire situation. Because of NaNiWa's reputation in Korea. It would be perhaps a better idea to continue playing the tournament... I fully understand what he currently does, and I don't blame him in any way for it. Because in these situations everything should be proper. And players should just have to concentrate on playing and don't get bothered by other things like lag.
But taking in consideration he currently plays under the "flag" of Korea, it would be perhaps a better choice to play on.

Via @IntelIEM Is he fucking serious? What a lack of professionalism from Nani. Sorry to say Nani, But your all drama and no gain. Lost a fan. Why fly 20 hours if your not even going to compete? I bet QxG is proud of you. I've been a fan since you first entered the scene, a really big fan infact, But all this crap is unbearable! Also, You took a spot away from a good toss / or any race who I'm sure would have played all they got even with lag if they got a invite. shame on you! Yeah blame Naniwa for having major technical issues that makes him lose the tournament. Lol, Was'nt the lag that killed nani, If he'd stay calm and do what strelok did he would have wun, he is the better player when he isnt beeing a immature child, Strelok had lag, nani had lag, Nani rages /ragequits and forfeit the tournament? Even tho its lag this is your job, no matter what. Give that spot to any other EU toss and he would do his best.

Naniwa trying to shove it up ESLs face by forfeiting the tournament. A ban should be issued as soon as possible.
i was ok with him probe rushing nestea, I thought that losing Code S for that was a stupid decision by GomTv(and i still think it is, a pointless game shouldnt be played)
But this is stupid... Strelok played under the same conditions and he had to play naniwa knowing that losing the series could destroy his tournament chances. and now it was all for nothing... imagine he would've lost, imagine naniwa winning with those lags, he wouldnt have forfeited the tournament, he would've continued. It's just inacceptable... Now if the ESL keep the 2:1 score instead of making it 2:0 it becomes even worse...

Soccer/football players are not playing on iced fields. Basketball players are not playing on slippery floors. Even though conditions are the same for both sides. Why should Nani play ?

Not meaning to defend or criticise anyone here. But it does actually happen not that rarely in soccer (for instance after rain) that the pitch is not in the best shape. It's definately not nice and probably not as much fun to play on such a field but if you are professional you just stick with it.

Naniwa o.0
I dont think pro gaming is for you if you cant take a little lag because really this will happend again
So disappointed

Still the 2 games he lost weren't due to lag.

If they did, i agree with naniwa. Or did they let them pause and wait? If so, then bad naniwa. They paused multiple times throughout the series, didn't help. Why not delay the games until the lag is fixed? Did iem force them to keep playing? They delayed it like 2 hours but couldn't fix it.
