Naniwa will stay an Amateur forever. He has to do his job - no matter what. Yeah, I saw the laggs too, but it doesn`t matter. He just has to try his best.

Are people really surprised by Naniwa's move? Should have laid a bet on it as soon as I saw him complaining about lag, it would have been easy cash. (:

So you mean that tournaments have no blame in not managing to make a lag free environment. Lets not cut the grass for the football players next so they cant play their game and see what happends, this might be a smaller scale than big football tournaments but its still the same principle.

And It's just as disrespectful to have players playing a "joke" tournament. What can a tournament with immense lag achieve?

If I was in Naniwa's position (a possible favorite to win 6k in an international SC2 tournament) there is no chance in hell I would quit just because the first match was ruined by lag.

Doesn't he realize how many noob gamers would give everything in order to be in his position? He is shitting right on their heads right now. Disgusting!

Is he fucking serious? What a lack of professionalism from Nani. Sorry to say Nani, But your all drama and no gain. Lost a fan. Why fly 20 hours if your not even going to compete? I bet QxG is proud of you. I've been a fan since you first entered the scene, a really big fan infact, But all this crap is unbearable!
Also, You took a spot away from a good toss / or any race who I'm sure would have played all they got even with lag if they got a invite. shame on you!

Yeah blame Naniwa for having major technical issues that makes him lose the tournament.

Sorry, but inviting a "star" like Naniwa means nothing. He is doing your tournament a favor. Imagine if MMA just left because the conditions were bad, would you blame him?

i wouldnt blame him and im not blaming naniwa cus i know that playing with lag sux, its just disrespectful ^^

u guys act like this is a first time occurence or something, when me and jinro played at the mlg finals last year there was also lag and we ended up getting disconnected, at iem ny i won my ro8 match and was told that they fucked up the brackets so i had to replay my match vs a diff opponent.. alot of other players have had similar shit happen to them aswell, ppl react to it differently tho ^^

Is Quantic OK with this? Can someone reach their management and tell them what their player is doing?

A tournament this big shouldnt have lag problems, was looking forward to this but with no real production value that other tournaments have (Apollo and TLO does make it really watchable but they aint even there ) and lag problems, IEM should either step it up or just crawl togheter and disband...

Yes, it's IEM's fault that they didn't bring some internet from Germany with them.

IEM definitly dropped the ball here. Still Naniwas behaviour is pretty bad for a pro... . It's understandable that he's upset, but his team payed his travelcosts he should at least try his best at the event for sponsors and fans.

Didn't he qualify though?

Agree, IEM has to step it up. I hope players dont play it anymore. Tell me ONE good IEM event in the last 14monts.

I really liked Cologne.

And I really liked IEM Hannover, the one where Moon placed second and the one with the awesome tiebreaker between Socke, Squirtle and Sjow.

The crowd for the finals was sooooo awesome

Why thank you! I was there for the final, maybe that's why
