He's definitly a better player mechanics wise than Thorzain, but Kas get nervous a lot sometimes, and Thorzain is a bit slow and unconsistent..
It's close between them atleast it's sure.

Thorzain is overrated imo. Anything after TSL?
Kas > Goody > Demusilim > Thorzain > Cloud > Naama

LOL.

Goody... no, not rly.

its Kas > Thorzain > select imo, after that there is many terrans on almost the same level. maybe bratok and demuslim (when he plays his best) stand out a bit from the rest

€: calling thorzain the "best foreigner" is ridiculous atm... stephano 4-0 thorzain @ shoutcraft final?^^

Agree with this. I wish Jinro would come back to his old shape, still best foreigner to go furthest in GSL. >_>

Thorzain and Kas are definitely top 2. After that there are players like Goody, Demuslim, Select, Naama, Cloud, Beastyqt, etc.

Well, Kas is very good, and it's true he's playing well. Obviously Zenio got outplayed this series. I don't know how good he is normally, but these games were very sloppy and seriously bring into question his multitasking abilities.

hes code s good

I reckon he's more likely to settle into the Code A region tbh.

Yeah, zenio is good but I don't think he's code S material atleast right now.

He's barely Code A material. Frankly he's lucky he even got to Up-and-Downs.

Dude, some days ago he was Code S, top 32 players in the world. WTF?

Gets into Code A, beats a nobody, gets violated by MKP, barely beats Losira, beats possibly the worst Code S terran of last season, gets lucky against Inca, gets absolutely annihilated by Polt. And he can't play ZvP to save his life.

That's what people say about every foreigner does decently against a Korean. Then they fail miserably in GSL.

i wouldnt say stephano failed... he played the topstars and went out of his group with 2-2 (mvp, mc, leenock, hero).
i wouldnt call either stephano or kas "Code s level" yet (to qualify for code s you gotta have code S skill AND luck anyway...), but its true that kas is called the best foreign terran over thorzain and select for a while now.

Agree, i am rather happy for the guy, because every one who has seen him in online cups know how beastly he can get. And recently in offline tourney's he's showing he's getting over those nerves and his play is getting to online level.
Good times ahead of him and the rest of the world will might get to see how topclass he is.
Does not make him Code S level etc or all those comparisens, we only know if he proves it by qualifying playing code A through S. Like foreigners should.

What has ThoraZaIN done since TSL? Lol....

Try : IGN season 2 : 4th
Dreamhack Valencia : 2nd
NASL Season 2 : 4th
Starcraft2 Across The Galaxy : 1st
SCI 4 : 2nd

Over 17k's worth of tournament winnings right there alone.

I think the issue with Jinro is that he played a really strong style (macro Terran) when no one else did. It became the standard and he didn't have the execution to pull it off as well as the Korean Terrans when they gave making more than one CC a shot. I can see him getting back into Code A, but anything like a Ro4 Code S seems pretty much impossible, sadly.

And yeah, I'm always confused at the Demuslim hype.

Remember DreamHack Valencia ? Where he BARELY lose the last game to Dong Rae Gu when everyone agreed he wxas at his top ZvT form.
Then NASL S2 4th place finish ?

In terms of result only, Thorzain is definitly on top of the foreigner terran curve. Kas don't have as much international succes but as most agree to say, he got nerves issus more than a lack in skill.

Foreigners can't handle the GSL stage, it's that simple. And people get lucky in the GSL all the time. Jjakji's group stages? Inca's run to the GSL finals? Nestea's same run in the same tournament?

You could and you would be correct on many accounts. But none of Zenio's games this season have looked good. His victories were meh at best. And his losses were never close.

Zenio's play was way off. Always sending barely less than enough zerglings to deal with drops, not pulling drones when he needed to and losing them for no reason, losing too many mutas, leaving groups of units inactive in the middle of the map for a long time etc etc, in both games. He seems to be in bad condition, could be jet-lag, he was playing in GSL like 2 days ago, and now he's halfway across the world.

This isn't his normal level of play.
