I'd say that caps of player pics (from their player intros) fits right into the LR (for people who miss the intros and anything interesting that happened). It's part of the GSL experience. The kpop list I don't care for but understand that a lot of people ask about it every single time, and the "GOM Player tips" is pretty important to enjoy the GSL. I wouldn't remove any of them, but yeah maybe make them a bit smaller.

Anyway, if Brown advances from this group then he might be worth hype. To be honest I'll be shocked if he takes a win against any of these very strong Terran players. Alive and Happy too easily dismissed and MKP doesn't really bow out of GSL this early often.

From what I can tell, people want him to do well, for the sake of racial diversity and because people generally like to see underdogs succeed. So little is known about Brown, and people hope that he becomes the next Protoss hero. That being said, I think most people realize that Brown faces an uphill battle to advance.
I want him to do well, because I would like to see more top Protosses and Zergs. Terrans have several top-tier players, and it would be nice to see the emergence of a new Protoss heavy-weight.

Toughest Code S group to predict IMO (Group B was a close second, though). I'm rooting for Brown and Happy, but I could really see any combination of players making it out of this group. I do wonder how this ongoing drama may have affected aLive's preparation for the group.
