Predicting Leenock and Fin to advance MC, sadly, just arrived in Korea :/

Last season's runner up + MLG champion vs new-to-Code-S player still largely unproven in SC2?

No, the betting sites have the favourite right when you get down to the stats and records over fan-hype and Brood War results.

Not saying ForGG can't win of course, but the favourite is Leenock on tournament results and form in those tournaments alone.

EDIT: So MC landed and that means at most probably a 6 hour sleep? =/ Yeah I think a prepared and rested MC could advance in this group, but he won't be here tonight...

You make good points, usually I am immune to the hype because it is always overhyping of foreigners (look at the first few pages of yesterdays LR if you want a laugh), but in this case it is a korean the foreigners are overhyping lol.

I WANT Leenock and MC to advance, but ForGG has some really nice albeit gimmicky builds, with fantastic execution so I suspect he and probably MC to advance.

I'd be sad if MC didn't advance.

extremely tough group. i wouldnt give anyone more than 60% chance to advance. mc was damn good at hsc4, but probably supernova/forgg > sound and leenock > nerchio.

Leenock and more than likely MC to advance. If the jetlag and recent return to Korea does have an effect on MC then possibly fOrGG. Possibly.

I still can't understand why people think Leenock made a bad choice picking Fin. MLG champion and 2nd place in the last Code S should be enough to make him favourite vs an untested Terran new to Code S.

Most people would probably agree there are easier choices he could have made. He must feel completely all-in proof is the only explanation I can figure.

What did I miss that is leading everyone on page 1 of this thread to predict fOrGG's downfall here? From what I've seen, there is not yet a reason to bet against him.

Where do you bet on SC2? I'll definity put my money on forgg over leenock. I have a feeling leenock "MC'd" himself with retarded pick.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to link gambling sites on TL. Do a google search for "betting starcraft e-sports", or PM me. I saw someone get warned for it before, kind of dumb imo, newspapers in most places list the betting lines for sports.

Only because people were clouded by Foreigner and Boxer bias.

Jjakji and Ganzi were the easy picks.
