Having all the elements in your game make your entire game so much stronger. Say you are a basketball player and you have a good 3 point shot, you will be good. But if that is all you have, the good teams will know and counter that. But if you work on your game and you can drive to the rim as well, it makes your 3 pointer so much more dangerous because players can't just use one defense. Same with SC2, having good cheese makes the opponent have to play more defensive and you can macro faster. Having good macro also makes your cheese/early aggression better because opponents will feel they need to cut corners in their build in order to keep up with your macro. I think you saw that with the game with MC and fOrGG on Belshir today. MC went 3 gate robo eventhough he saw a fast expand build from fOrGG because he just lost to Supernova's banshee (I know it is different player but I am sure it had an effect). So fOrGG's fast third wasn't punished and he had a macro advantage. I agree that it is important for a great player to have cheese strategys in their bag to remain unpredictable to atleast a small degree. Take stephano as an example. He is so good at what he does and his mechanics and micro is outstanding but he just never cheeses or does any unexpected openings or bo's. Because of this everyone now knows how he plays and despite his skills he becomes to predictable and suffers from it.

It's more like paying for NBATV then watching the playoffs where the teams play bo7s. The lakers are playing and are down 4-0 vs the Mavericks (meaning they cannot advance), but instead of going home, the NBA forces the lakers to continue playing games vs the mavericks. They do not try whatsoever because they have already lost, and now the NBA punishes the Lakers for the next season because they didnt try in games that had no meaning and should not have been played. LOL, do you watch the NBA? Teams that are out of the playoffs STILL have to play out the regular season (the last few games might not even mean a change in the draft order). It wasn't like Naniwa lost 3 games in best of 5 and they forced him to play. It was still the round robin (regular season)... So please THINK before make analogies...

GSL had every right to do what they did. Claiming that only the Rules GSL wrote down in their brief Rulebook apply completely disregards the fact that there are statutes that lay down rules for any contractual relationship. In this case that would be the korean civil code. And looking the incident from the perspective of the korean civil code Gretech had the right to terminate their contractual relationship with naniwa, ie kick him out of the league. Claiming that GSL did wrong despite of this legal situation is only looking like a excuse for blind naniwa fanboys. I mean what do you want ? Incorporate every possible situation there is in the Gsl Rulebook and make it a document as long as the korean civil code itself or even longer ? Its simply not practicable and also unnecessary because korea already has statutory rules that deal with such situations in a satisfactory way.

Agreed, no more fail stupid children-defending Naniwa's childishness analogies, thanks.

still I think GSL did wrong. Sure they had the right to do what they did but it still was stupied. As for watching it, I am not and I feel freaking GREAT!! I can think of 1000 things that I rather do then watch GSL tbh. But thats just my personal preference. So you enjoy it!

At least in professional sports, when they are in Naniwa's situation, they do something utterly retarded like do something to get thrown out of games cause of their frustration, but they don't resort to giving the fans a middle-finger or punch in the face. P.S. Unless your name is Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest LOL

More Zergs qualified from the preliminaries this season than for the other races giving them the highest population in Code A. Presuming they don't all fail spectacularly I'd expect the next GSL to actually have more Zergs in Code S =)
