I showed up at ~8:10pm est to my server, according to the tournament page, which is an hour before the thing actually is supposed to start, because I wanted to make sure that Daylight Savings Time wasn't going to fuck with me (sometimes EST is 13 hours behind Korea, and sometimes its 14). I was told by the admin that I was actually an hour late! To their credit, they tried to ge tme into another server that was running late or whatever, but I had already promised someone that I would cover for them at their work leading up to the tournament's first matches at 9:15pm est so that I would have the rest of the morning and early afternoon to dedicate to this tournament. Because I had already promised the guy that I'd cover for him for the hour before the tournament, I wasn't able to play. God damnit. Why'd they have to change the time on me. I was even here training on Quake Live's Duel servers at 7pm EST! If only I had known! Stupid me for checking only the official tournament page. | ||

We were sending out messages to all of the players that were checked in about servers and what to expect from the FFA rounds. I am very sorry and we will make it up to you sir. We will run another one of these on a date that best works for you. I will message you personally sir and we will work it out. | ||

i saw your pms as well leading up to it, as well. maybe i just skimmed too much after the first couple (you guys sent out like 13 messages altogether to me before i found out what happened) and missed the whole show up by 7pm bit. or if i did see it, maybe i just assumed it was for the final checkin time (there were like 4 pms that were only about the checkin, so it was a reasonable assumption imo as i skimmed everything). | ||

Bracket - http://cyber-sports.net/brackets/15622 1st - to0l 2nd - FrZnSquid 3rd - zionsc If you look at the bracket those were the top 8 that made it out of the QL FFA rounds and into the sc2 bracket. They received premium tokens and it went great and we plan on running another one. | ||
