He just lost some concentration but still he wast going to lose no matter what naniwa did. foreigner bias ftw Naniwa made that game a lot closer than it probably should have been considering the MASSIVE economy lead leenock was able to secure with his map control. It seems like the turtle against mutas strat needs a 4th to really work well otherwise the mass economy seems to win in the end despite some very relatively poorly handled battles from leenock

Still Naniwa should have killed the tech, would have won him the game. Better player lost there imho. Naniwa's control was outstanding, Leenock was smart though. Please.. Naniwa made plenty of mistakes with his control. It's easy to look like you're outplaying your opponent when he's just throwing handfuls of units at you at a time, but Leenock was obviously doing it on purpose because through smart play (and Naniwa's bad play) he was able to do so much damage to Naniwa that he was barely mining.

He had a 3rd base, he sniped a hatch with DT's, the mutas never killed probes and killed like 1 building, he did about as good as he could against mutas in PvZ. Leenock didnot pick naniwa apart except for the unlucky baneling run-in when naniwa went to defend mutas. I would say they played pretty equally, so equally that it may have just come down to that one decision of what to do with the army A third base against Leenocks 5 or 6? He was sniping structures with his mutas (which kept Naniwa from upgrading properly), took out the natural and "unlucky" baneling run in? Wasn't that planned by Leenock and timed, it's not luck. That base with the DT snipe was pointless, Leenock already had another base in the bottom left corner. Leenock was ahead in supply almost the entire game, had a much higher drone count, multiple more expansions, had Naniwa on the ropes all game and wouldn't let him take a fourth. Leenock overextended into the storms, but it was ok since he had so much bank (since he was maxed for so long) and slowly whittled away at Naniwa. If he wasn't so head, he wouldn't have been able to win that game.

It was an awesome game, but i had to mute it to enjoy it. Goes both way Boss. They were pretty objective for me but ofcourse as Leenock boss its easy to hear bias:D just saying I thought it was an amasing and very close game and at some point I thought Naniwa is dead and then I thought leenock is dead
